The Toll of Extermination: Savage or White Glove?

Afrasianet - Subhi Hadidi - In numbers (inaccurate, in the sense that they accept increase rather than decrease, given the lack of minimum levels of enumeration), the outcome of 3 years of Israel's war of extermination against the Gaza Strip says:

- 74,000 martyrs,

- 186,000 deaths from various causes,

- 82% of the destruction of the Gaza Strip's buildings, including hospitals, shelter camps, schools and churches.

- 1.4 million civilians in a state of food insecurity,

- 3% of the remaining arable land,

- 263 journalists killed,

- 58,000 children who have lost one or two parents,

- 4,000 children amputated by shelling,

- More than 1,460 Palestinian martyrs have been killed since the beginning of the so-called "ceasefire".

- 25 billion dollars in US aid to the occupying power....

This is the conclusion that the South African judge Navi Pillay, the recent winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, will adopt to respond to those who doubt her worthiness for this honor, the highest in the fields of valuing peace activities and the defense of human rights, and at the same time carrying out various questions that entrench as the merit of the laureate (one remembers the likes of Yitzhak Rabin, Shimon Peres, Henry Kissinger...).

This is in the first place, because she previously chaired the United Nations Independent Commission of Inquiry, which came to the conclusion of frank courage: accusing the occupying power of committing genocide in the Gaza Strip.

The Norwegian committee that awarded the prize could, even without a public statement, rely on the outcome of Israeli brutality against the Gaza Strip to respond to the critics of the decision to honor Pillay, who are in any case few, especially those who advocated that the prize go to US President Donald Trump.

It is not difficult to speculate that this barbaric outcome was entrenched in the consciences of the prize donors, when they emphasized in particular the interdependence in Pillay's career, between the defense of Nelson Mandela and his fellow anti-apartheid activists, and its judicial work in some of the most important files of international courts, where the Israeli genocide was not absent from the deliberations and judgments.

This is a result that has been adopted, time and time again, here and there throughout the world, in order to bring down one false pretext after another behind the arsenal of lies promoted by Zionist pressure groups or supporters of the occupying state, whether in the context of monopolizing the position of the universal victim, the Jewish Holocaust exclusively, or the myth of an Israeli army, which has been marketed as the "most moral" on the face of the world, in addition to the misguided Israeli "democracy" that is the only one in the region.

Global demonstrations of solidarity with the people of Gaza, and Palestinian rights in general, are no longer limited to universities and young generations, but have moved to festivals, conferences, and forums, and the Palestinian keffiyeh has become a permanent detail in most of the protest agendas in the streets of the world.

It is no wonder, but it is a logical fate, whatever its moral and mental circumstances, to be ridiculed The same conclusion is drawn by those who say that the "Al-Aqsa Flood" operation only resulted in these catastrophic effects, which could have been avoided, as if the pre-October 7, 2023 of the barbaric Israeli wars against the Gaza Strip did not take place, or as if any resistance to any occupation was required to be limited to wearing white gloves.
