Afrasianet - Khaled Breish - Every time there was a social crisis or unrest in the streets of some Arab countries, some officials and ideological politicians in Western countries, followed by our spokesmen for us, would come out to give us lessons, summarizing what is happening and its causes, in the "absence of democracy and freedoms", and these same people did not say a word of mouth, and stopped giving free lessons, when the demonstrations took place in the usurping entity, due to the judicial amendments in 2023, as if the issue did not concern them, neither near nor far, and those who talked about it, took it up in order to raise the threshold, praising democracy and its practice in the usurping entity.
Here is Europe today, its streets are rising, and let us this time give us some lessons, and say to them with our mouths full, today you are in front of the dead end.
Yes, and there is no gloating, and that all your solutions that were like patchwork for economic, social, educational, political and etc.
They were sterile, and they were like a pill Aspirin for cancer, spread, expand, and gnaw the bones of your systems and societies, and it is time for you to go back to your notebooks, from which you have been teaching us your lessons and re-reading them, it may undoubtedly benefit you.
Far from getting into the internal and external debt crises that have accumulated, and the state of societal disintegration that European societies are suffering from, because they are matters that need independent and extensive research, the causes of this deepening crisis in European systems and societies can be quickly summarized in four points:
The first: is the war in Ukraine, which could have been avoided, while the majority of European politicians considered it a fateful war, spread rumors about it, and exaggerated it beyond reason, in order to justify their intervention in it, and so that their citizens would not ask questions about the huge money that will be pumped into the fields of death, and therefore this would be justified.
This money was the first to be spent to improve the conditions of their countries and societies, and to raise the level of their citizens, who in fact need it much more than the war in Ukraine.
Among the direct results of this war were inflation that exceeded all expectations, and a rise in the prices of foodstuffs, and all the materials that citizens need in their daily lives, due to the cessation of Russian oil and gas, which they boycotted, so they were like those who shot in the legs, and also because of the greed of the merchants, and they suffered from this: workers, employees, and the entire middle class, and they will continue to suffer as long as their countries deduct huge sums of money from the budgets to finance this dirty war, knowing that all wars are dirty without exception.
Of course, without going into the analysis of the shameful American position, which pushed the Europeans strongly to support this destructive war, for future strategic reasons related to its positioning vis-à-vis China, and the US President Trump comes and forces them to buy weapons from his factories, in order to send them to Ukraine!
"Democracy, like all humanistic and political ideas and theories, evolves with the times, and if it is not nourished with new ideas and constant modifications are made to them, it sills and leaves room for chaos"

Second: The existence of a state of psychological instability that prevails in both the Europeans as individuals and their regimes, resulting from a feeling that the protector of stability in the world, America, has abandoned their protection, and then entered into an absurd war with Iran, for the sake of Netanyahu's eyes, and today finds itself involved in it, drowning in its quagmire, which it cannot resolve or get out of it safely, but caused a severe global economic crisis, after the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, one of the most important corridors for the flow of energy in the world.
Like every war, its traders and exploiters, America was at the forefront of them, as it achieved fantastic profits, after forcing the countries of the world to buy American oil and gas, while the Arab oil countries could only export a limited part of their oil and benefit from the rise in prices.
The third, which is the most important in my opinion, is that after the fall of the Berlin Wall, Europe went through a state of euphoria of victory, accompanied by a kind of sagging. Instead of increasing its attention to its societies and problems, it turned towards a more brutal liberalism, in which after a few years, man became just a little pawn on the table, and the slogan of "humanity", which they had always sang, became without any moral or moral value.
At a time when the needs and demands of the poor classes became their last concern, and they were even more and deliberately marginalized than before.
The response of these classes is to raise a yellow card, and the interruption of the elections, the basic process in any democratic system, until the percentage of participants reached less than 30%, in some countries, but they announce higher numbers, because announcing the real numbers means that the political class loses its credibility and representation of the people, and instead of paying attention to this, reading the message, and the content of this yellow card, researching the causes and causes, and finding effective solutions, they turned their backs on all this, considering that as long as the people do not raise their voice, it means that things are going well.
Fourth: The intellectual-political vacuum that Europe suffers from in general, and the fact that democracy is supposed to contribute to the vitality of these societies, has reached a state of gross sterility, whether at the level of implementation or by way of proposals.
Since the beginning of the last century, Europe has become accustomed to social intellectual proposals Politicians of the right and the left, their philosophers and intellectuals, were presenting new ideas and reform proposals every day that would take their role in the media and social arena, and in public and private debate.
However, after the fall of the Berlin Wall, the left retreated, and many of its leaders identified with the right, and its various slogans became tasteless, smellless, and even meaningless, as is the case with the socialists in France, for example, who are today accused by a large segment of the French of betraying their principles and ideas, for which the rebel, who produced a wealth of thought and trade union struggles, fought for which only an ungrateful person could deny.
In the 1980s, during a television program with the late President François Mitterrand, the host of the program told him, "We are as a democratic society," and Mitterrand interrupted her immediately, responding to her, "We are a society moving towards democracy, and we have not yet reached it, democracy is a long and renewed road."
Words that express a deep understanding of democracy, which, like all human and political ideas and theories, evolves with the times, and if they are not constantly nourished by new and renewed ideas, and constant modifications are made to those ideas, they sag, lag behind, and leave room for chaos and political sterility.
This is what we are living in today, where the politicians and intellectuals have been absent from the arena, leaving the arena to the demagogues and populists, who do not provide societies with solutions to their problems, but rather fill them with passionate speeches and hurl accusations in all directions, such as some of the mosque preachers in our countries.
This in itself is one of the most important forms of Europe's crises today, which have undoubtedly reached a dead end, and have become in need of a real miracle to get out of their complex crises.
