After strong mediation from Pakistan, Qatar and some countries in the region, Trump announced the arrival of an agreement between the United States and Iran, called the Memorandum of Understanding, which establishes negotiations within 60 days on major issues such as uranium and some matters and clauses that have not yet been disclosed, what was leaked from the information indicated that the agreement included a number of important clauses.
The most important of which is that the agreement stipulates an immediate cessation of all hostilities in all arenas, but confirmed news says that the agreement includes Lebanon only, and the second item is that The United States pledges not to interfere in Iran's internal affairs, to respect Iran's sovereignty, and to lift the naval blockade imposed on Iran in recent months, which was imposed throughout the negotiation period, in which Pakistan strongly mediated, and that the naval blockade will be lifted within 30 days.
The agreement stipulated that the Strait of Hormuz would also be reopened within 30 days and that the United States would commit to withdrawing its forces from the area bordering Iran, and the United States agreed to suspend U.S. sanctions on Iran in the field of preventing the export of Iranian oil and petrochemical products, and the agreement gave Iran full access to its revenues, as well as the commitment of the United States and its allies to present a plan for Iran's reconstruction.
On the other hand, Iran pledged not to produce any nuclear weapons within the framework of its compliance with the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT), and the United States pledged not to send any additional forces to the region, and the United States pledged to release $24 billion of Iran's frozen assets, provided that half of the amount would be released before the talks that will take place after the signing of the agreement. This means that Israel considers itself out of the agreement and may not abide by it unless America imposes it on it, and this does not come easily, the Trump administration must barn its fangs if it wants this agreement to move forward and achieve peace in the region and not to sabotage it, and the Trump administration has many tools and methods to do so, the most important of which is to abandon Israel if Israel continues its hostilities towards Iran or Lebanon and does not abide by what was stated in the Agreement on Lebanon.
