Is there a Western or Israeli politician left, or a political figure among them, except that he was mentioned in the Epstein files?
Afrasianet - Writer Hussein Majdoubi says that mentioning the name of the great scientist Stephen Hawking in Epstein's horrific documents makes this case like the "Big Bang", i.e. the great explosion that resulted in the universe, according to the theory of this world. In practice, this scandal is one of the new episodes of a world that is partly based on vice and continuous manifestations.
The Epstein documents, which were revealed by the US Department of Justice a few days ago, are displayed to everyone on some social media to search for data that is of interest to everyone For every country and for every personality, to know this global octopus of unprecedented moral corruption.
This is the third time in the last decade and a half that the international community has witnessed such a quantity of such documents, after the WikiLeaks documents, which exposed the scandals of the ruling class in the world and its surroundings, and then the documents of secret accounts in Swiss banks and Panama, and how the rulers who legislate the laws evade the saying "whoever sets the law sets the rule of circumvention of it." Imprints in the Scientific Journey of Humanity in the Epstein Papers.
There are many names, especially political ones, mentioned in these documents, which were present on Little James Island, located in the Virgin Islands of the United States, which does not exceed 28 hectares, in the center of which is a large building such as a hotel and a dome building, which seems to be inspired by those first religious buildings, which knew strange rituals in the era of very ancient civilizations, this building/temple that will reveal many secrets.
What happened on this island is a "global micro-scandal", and in some countries we find places of "national micro-scandal", such as the famous villa "San Martino" in Lamborgia of the late Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, which was famous as "Bunga-Bunga" because of the crazy parties in which it was held.
Personally, I would like to stop at two of the names mentioned, the first is Stephen Hawking, who is considered a member of the club of great humanists, along with Newton, Einstein and Al-Khwarizmi. Yes, what is surprising is that Hawking showed up on the cursed island in 2006 to take part in a scientific activity about space.
And how his participation turned into a disgrace after the first news about his participation in the exploitation of minors began to come out in public.
The second name belongs to Bill Gates, the owner of Microsoft, with its multiple programs, such as Windows, on which more than 90% of the world's computers are based, and humanity's qualitative leap towards the digital world cannot be understood without his company and software. Epstein's documents tell how Bill Gates became sexually transmitted due to his sexual relations with girls.
The appearance of these documents would be a community death sentence for Bill Gates, who would find it difficult for him to attend seminars, fund conferences, and advocate for ethical projects.
What happened on the cursed island, and no doubt in other resorts at more or less dangerous levels, is based on two closely related explanations: the ideological manipulation of a part of the global elite, and political blackmail to influence international decisions.
Throughout history, a part of the so-called elite of the world has practiced rituals and practices related to ancient traditions, dating back to the rituals of Canaanite paganism in the Levant and Mesopotamia, as well as Gyonesos and Bacchus among the Greeks based on wine, dancing and strange practices, which religiously justify as "liberation of the soul."
This Western elite is not only connected to Greek thought such as Aristotle and Plato, but even to the madness that emerged at the time.
Russian President Vladimir Putin, no doubt, has been aware of the moral scandals taking place in the West, and has warned of a decadent and rootless elite in many of his speeches since 2013. Interestingly, some U.S. currents opposed to such practices often cite Putin's position as well as China's position on the matter.
On the second point, blackmail, what is happening cannot be separated from the so-called "arrest of the global elite" by a cross-border intelligence that believes in the same thing and follows the world according to a specific agenda, because what is being seen now is only a few of these terrible sins, as recent years have begun to surprise us terribly.
One example that I always focus on is the carrying out of terrorist bombings in Belgium and Italy by a Central NATO organization called "Gladio" from the end of the 1960s to the end of the 1980s and blaming the Communists, and 491 people died in terrorist bombings in Italy alone, the most serious of which was the Bologna train bombing, which left 88 people dead. Let us ask: what if we revisit a number of terrorist operations, and present a different reading that begins by listening to Western journalists who have doubts about many of these operations?
In general, these atrocities began as unsure news, and so-called sober media outlets such as the New York Times, Le Monde, and the Washington Post refused to address them under the pretext that they were part of a "conspiracy," and now the opposite is happening. Don't look for news about these files in such media outlets, because in the end, some of their officials are involved in these strange rituals, or cover up for mysterious reasons until now, these media outlets are content with some kind of news, without deep real research.
Thus, if it weren't for the Internet and social networks, we wouldn't have known about many strange practices, and the scale of these scandals, including Epstein's Cursed Island, which is equivalent to the Big Bang of a moral decay with cosmic concepts.
In Details:
Editor: A case named after American billionaire and businessman Jeffrey Epstein, who is accused of running a prostitution network, exploiting his homes and an island he owned to commit sexual crimes against underage girls (13-17) and recruiting others to expand his network.
The case came to light in 2005 when Epstein was tried for prostitution with a minor, and documents were revealed that he was involved with American and international political and artistic figures in a network of prostitution and exploitation of minors.
Although he committed suicide following his second arrest in 2019, the case remained reactive after him, causing an uproar in American society.
Jeffrey Epstein
Born in New York in 1953, American billionaire and businessman Jeffrey Epstein worked in several professions, including teaching and investment banking, and was known for his proximity to many stars and politicians.
He is a figure with an extensive network of connections with the elite of American society and was known for his closeness to former President Donald Trump, who once called Epstein a "wonderful man."
From his 1990 home in Palm Beach, Florida, local police began investigating Epstein after receiving complaints from neighbors who noticed that young girls frequented his home.
The police immediately noticed his influence and the fear that made many girls refuse to testify, so they worked secretly for years to try to choose the most appropriate time to search his house, and then arrest him.
The investigators felt that they were being watched around the clock, and found that their garbage was also being searched, forcing the investigation team to change its strategy and the mechanism of storing its data to trap him.
Epstein was suspended from work in 2005 on charges of sexually exploiting a minor as young as 14 and illegally serving dozens of minors at his Florida home.
Although several girls testified about the assault on them by Epstein and his friends, the court confirmed only one assault in 2008, charged him with only "inciting prostitution," and sentenced him to 13 months, after reaching an agreement with prosecutors that protected him from further investigations.
Under the agreement, Epstein admitted that he arranged meetings for his clients with underage girls for the purpose of sex, received reduced conditions inside the jail during his detention, and was even allowed to go to his home in Palm Beach for several hours a day.
Alexander Costa was the one who approved the deal as Florida's attorney general at the time, and he resigned as secretary of labor in the Trump administration after new accusations against Epstein surfaced, and was reprimanded for his leniency at a time when Epstein could have been arrested and his string of crimes stopped.
After an article published by the American newspaper "Miami Herald" in which it referred to Epstein's victims, and those involved in reducing the sentence against him such as Costa, federal prosecutors re-monitored and investigated the case, discovered that he ran a prostitution network, and he was arrested at the Teterboro Airport in New Jersey on July 6, 2019.
Two days later, he was charged with sexual exploitation of minors and conspiracy to commit sexual trafficking of minors, charges that carry a sentence of up to 45 years in prison, and prosecutors say he trafficked minors, subjected them to sexual slavery and introduced them to wealthy world celebrities.
On August 10, 2019, Epstein was found dead in his cell with a gunshot wound to the neck, and because of the prostitution's expansion and reach to high-profile individuals, some believed he had been killed to cover up those involved, but police later announced that he had committed suicide.
Gillian Maxwell. Partner in the case
Gillian Maxwell, the daughter of the British Jew Robert Maxwell and founder of Pergamon Publishing, who holds British, American and French citizenship, and is considered a celebrity in American society, was associated with the case as Epstein's girlfriend, and was accused of being his partner in the prostitution network after Virginia Giuffre (a victim and the main plaintiff against Epstein) filed a defamation lawsuit against her.
Maxwell was involved in the case through several activities in which she contributed to the expansion of the prostitution network, the recruitment of girls into sexual slavery, and the giving of money to girls who brought others to "massage services" which they later discovered were with some other intent. She offered money to the victim's friends, Virginia Joffrey, to refute her and other victims' statements to exonerate those involved.
Maxwell was arrested in July 2021, sentenced to 20 years in prison and fined $750,000 in 2022, and convicted of five counts, including securing underage girls for prostitution for Epstein and his friends.
Julie Brown, author of "Perversion of Justice: The Story of Jeffrey Epstein," says that the relationship between Epstein and the Maxwell family began in the 1980s, when Maxwell's father was on the brink of bankruptcy, Epstein helped him hide his money in offshore bank accounts, and from then on his relationship with the British Jewish family began, and that's how he got to know their ninth daughter, Gillian.
Victim Virginia Joffrey
Among the many victims, despite the refusal of many, one girl dared to sue Epstein and his partner Maxwell in 2015, accusing them of sexually abusing her since she was 17 years old and arranging sexual encounters with "royalty, politicians, academics, prominent businessmen and other wealthy people" – all of whom have denied involvement – including Britain's Prince Andrew and Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz (an advocate for Israel at the International Court of Justice)against accusations of genocide in Gaza).
Virginia Giuffre says Maxwell arranged for the girls, including Virginia, to provide "massage services" in a health product for $200 and took them to Epstein's home, but she and the other girls did not expect the massage services to turn into sexual exploitation, and accused the FBI of covering up the practices.
Joffrey moved to Australia after her marriage, and in 2015 she set up a charity called Speak, Move, Recover to support victims of sex trafficking, and on 26 April 2025 she was declared suicidal.
Virginia wasn't the only one to sue Epstein and his partner, but several girls under pseudonyms followed suit, ultimately leading to Maxwell's 2022 conviction for trafficking girls for sex.
Along with Virginia Giuffre, Joanna Sjoberg provided plenty of evidence of a number of high-profile involvement with Epstein, and accused Prince Andrew of assaulting her three times in 2001 at Epstein's home in London , New York and Little St. James. The prince was stripped of his title following the case, which he shared with the victim and was not prosecuted, paying her $13 million.
On the other hand, the prince also opened up the case filed by Virginia Joffrey against him in 2022, in which she accused him of abusing her when she was a teenager, but he denied meeting the girl, despite the spread of a photo documenting their meeting, and denied any other accusations, and in return he did not deny his relationship with Epstein, saying through his lawyer, "Prince Andrew regrets his association with Epstein, and praises the courage of Lady Virginia Joffrey and the other survivors in defending themselves and others."
Epstein Island. One of the places
Epstein Island is located in the Caribbean Sea within a number of American virgin islands off the coast of St. Thomas, and its original name is "Little St. James", and for American society, it is the home of conspiracy theories circulating locally, so they called it several names for it, including "Pedophilia Island" (child prostitution), "island" and "pleasure island".
It has an area of 75 acres, with reserves and orchards, andduring World War I, the United States of Americabought it from Denmark to prevent it from being used as a base for German submarines, and it developed to become private property and a haven for tax evaders.
The island was owned by billionaire Epstein for 20 years, and he lived there most of the time, trying to build a good reputation in the "Virgin Islands" through his generous donations to government officials and educational institutions and his stakes in companies there, but he was unsuccessful, as his notoriety was widespread locally.
In the criminal lawsuit against him, Epstein Island was described as "the perfect hideout and haven for the sex trafficking of underage girls, the practice of sexual slavery and the abuse of children."
The lawsuit documents also state that Epstein and his associates sought to avoid detection of their activity in the Virgin Islands, hide from federal law enforcement, and prevent their young victims and underage girls from freely leaving and escaping abuse, which was confirmed by several young women who tried to flee while being transported to the island.
Girls and children who could not escape said the only way out was by helicopter or boat, and authorities were not even allowed into the island when they tried to do so while Epstein was alive, because the entire island was privately owned.
"The island of pedophilia" was not the only property that Epstein owned, and it was not the only place that was pointed out by the accusations, as he owned another island and luxurious houses and palaces, which were among the places mentioned in the prostitution network, but what made the island take the most attention is its privacy and the difficulty of reaching and exiting it, in addition to documenting the visit of politicians and international celebrities to it, with the presence of several closed buildings, one of which is in the form of a "temple" around which many rumors have been raised accusing Epstein and his partners of exploiting him for "rituals and parties of sexual assault".
Prosecutor Dennis George, who prosecuted Epstein's estate after his death, said the island was a "place to hide his criminal activity" and that his power and wealth gave him the ability to cover up his criminal activities, noting that he was transporting girls by helicopter from St. Thomas Island to his island.
Two days after Epstein's suicide, FBI agents raided the island for any evidence related to the case, and then sold the island for half its price in May 2023 to an investor to turn it into a luxury resort.
Documents that reveal many
Among the more than 190 pieces of evidence and more than 3,000 papers, the names of those involved and contributors to this network lie, thanks to a defamation lawsuit filed by victim Virginia Giuffre in 2015, but it was not fully disclosed to the public, but was revealed in stages, according to court orders.
In 2019, the first 2,000 pages of the case files were revealed, followed by the announcement of the rest of the parts in 2020, 2021, 2022, and early 2024, which activists rumored were published at this particular time to divert American public opinion from paying attention to the humanitarian situation inside the Gaza Strip, due to the Israeli aggression that began in October 2023.
The documents not only identified those involved, but also included the names of individuals who Epstein and his partner may have hired for their services, but the court did not charge them, including former US President Bill Clinton, who the documents say used Epstein's personal jet four times.
In late 2023, the judge overseeing the case ordered the publication of the third batch of documents related to the lawsuit, which included the names of prominent politicians and others, pending the emergence of new testimonies and evidence to support the allegations mentioned in the documents.
Not all of the names were mentioned in the context of the accusation, but documented a relationship between Epstein and the aforementioned figures, such as former US President Donald Trump and the late American singer Michael Jackson, as the documents confirmed their visit to Epstein's home, but without making clear accusations linking them to the prostitution network.
The documents included interviews conducted by investigators with defendants in the case, such as Maxwell and other figures accused of being part of the brothel's team, as well as recorded video testimonies, some of which were of Tijuan Alessi, Epstein's Florida housekeeper, and others who lived at his home.
Alessi said she saw Prince Andrew and his wife, Sarah Ferguson, that he stayed at home for weeks, received a daily "massage service," and that Alfredo Rodriguez, Epstein's bodyguard, repeatedly delivered money from Epstein to "high school students, and those who help recruit girls."
The documents revealed included 150 pages of phone messages written by an Epstein employee, which included the names of people who denied their connection to Epstein's business, stressing that the relationship between them was part of managing their own money and receiving advice in this regard.
Names revealed in the documents
Jean-Luc Brunel, a close friend of Epstein's who was found dead in a French prison in 2022 while being investigated by French authorities, was accused of helping to recruit underage women and girls for Epstein, and also alleged that he raped and assaulted women.
Former New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, the documents said he visited Epstein's ranch in New Mexico, and victim Virginia Joffrey said she had been instructed to offer him a "massage service" before, but called the accusation "completely false" and denied meeting her.
The victim, Sjoberg, said she had dinner with magician David Copperfield at Epstein's home, and said he asked her "if she knew the girls were getting money to find other girls," but he was not charged.
Sjoberg said she met Michael Jackson at Epstein's home in Palm Beach. But she did not provide him with any "massage services" and did not charge him.
The late physicist Steve Hawking was named in an email Epstein sent to Maxwell in 2015, and the email said Hawking had participated in group sex parties for underage girls.
Sjoberg said she had not met Bill Clinton, but testified that Epstein had told her that "Clinton loves little ones," apparently referring to girls. While Joffrey had previously stated that Clinton and Epstein had a close relationship, she did not accuse him of any illegal act.
But according to prosecution documents, Clinton threatened Vanity Fair if it published an article alleging that Epstein had founded a prostitution network. In the same documents, Joffrey also claimed that Clinton was fully aware of the prostitution network that Epstein was running.
The list includes Steve Bannon, who exchanged frequent messages with Epstein in 2018 and 2019, including offers to use private jets and political advice on Europe, as well as personal and professional messages with Larry Summers, the former Treasury secretary and former president of Harvard University , who appeared to have continued to seek advice from Epstein into the days leading up to his arrest.
The documents include correspondence between Epstein and former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, businessman Tom Pritzker and journalist Michael Wolff, who relied on Epstein as a source of information about the Trump administration.
The documents also show that Epstein was providing information to Congresswoman Stacey Blaskett during Michael Cohen's 2019 questioning session, highlighting his influence within the legislature, according to the Washington Post.
The letters also highlight correspondence involving Katherine Roemiller, a former White House counsel under President Barack Obama, who discussed with Epstein the prospects of a senior position at the Justice Department, as well as personal and professional letters.
The documents also show communication between Epstein and writer Deepak Chopra about personal matters and Trump-related issues. Epstein is also linked to prominent Trump businessman and financier Tom Brock, with whom the letters show he was in constant contact and is now the U.S. ambassador to Turkey and Trump's special envoy for Syria.
Despite the proliferation of illustrious names in the documents, a White House spokeswoman said the correspondence "does not prove anything," stressing that Democrats are using them to distract attention.
Epstein's relationship with Trump
Trump had been friends with Epstein for several years, but their relationship was strained, and Trump confirmed that they had a dispute years before Epstein's crimes were exposed.
Trump attended social events with Epstein in the 1990s and early 2000s, but has denied any wrongdoing.
Although Trump denied knowing of any wrongdoing committed by Epstein, he found himself back in the vortex of controversy, and as pressure mounted, he returned to describing the dossier as a "witch hunt," before ordering the reopening of the case and an investigation into the links of prominent Democratic figures to Epstein, including former President Bill Clinton, Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, and others.
Trump's request to investigate Democrats came after they published emails from Epstein's estate that included references to him, presumably knowing about Epstein's assaults on underage girls, sparking a media uproar despite the lack of conclusive information.
"Epstein wrote in private correspondence with Maxwell in 2011 that Trump spent hours at his home with one of the victims of sex trafficking," Democrats on the House Oversight Committee said in a statement.
The New York Times revealed that Maxwell admitted in an interview with the deputy attorney general that Trump and Epstein had a social relationship, but denied any connection to Trump on the subject of sex.
Epstein Files Transparency Act
On July 7, 2025, the US Department of Justice and the FBI announced that they had found no evidence to prove the existence of a list of influential figures involved in the Epstein scandal, denying accounts that suggested he was deliberately killed to cover up the case.
On November 18, 2025, the House of Representatives voted overwhelmingly to pass the Epstein Files Transparency Bill, which would require the Justice Department to make public investigative files related to Epstein's case within 30 days of its signing, with exceptions for survivors' personal information and other sensitive material.
Taken together, the documents reflect the extent to which Epstein penetrated the circles of government, business and the media, and show that he had a network of relationships that remained active until the moments before his downfall, and provide a deeper picture of how he exploited the connections to build influence that remained in the shadows until the end.
Epstein and the Mossad
The case documents also linked Epstein to former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, as they had business cooperation, as Epstein contributed financially to Barak's projects, putting him under the charge of involvement in the case.
Ehud Barak did not deny his connection to Epstein, but he denied his knowledge of the prostitution network or Epstein's practices in general, but Benjamin Netanyahu, Barak's rival, took advantage of this case immediately after Epstein's arrest, and demanded that Barak be investigated, especially after the latter formed a party for the purpose of running for elections.
Netanyahu demanded a criminal investigation into Barak's personal and business relationships with those involved in the prostitution network, and his companies were immediately scrutinized amid questions about the source of his wealth.
Barak denied all rumors about his involvement in the prostitution network led by Epstein, defended his business relationship with him, asserting that the boundaries of their relationship did not go beyond that, stating that he was not the only one who maintained his relationship with him after his arrest, and confirmed that there is a partnership between Epstein and prominent American politicians, saying, "If the American system itself did not classify him as persona non grata, how can it expect me to observe his actions."
This reinforced the case for Epstein's connection to Maxwell's Jewish family, first with father Robert and later daughter Gillienne, who had previously supported Robert when he was on the verge of bankruptcy. "It is not unlikely that Epstein was in a relationship with the Mossad," Julie Brown said, noting the similarities in the circumstances of Epstein's and Robert's deaths in 1991, as they were locally rumored to have been assassinated by the Mossad, although the former was confirmed to have committed suicide and the latter died by drowning by mistake.
On the other hand, former Israeli intelligence officer Ari Ben-Menashi, in an interview with Russia Today channel, claimed that Epstein and Maxwell's father were Israeli agents, and that everything that was rumored and said was aimed at gathering intelligence from prominent figures for the benefit of the Mossad and blackmailing it, and that all the scandals mentioned in the Epstein case were orchestrated for the benefit of the Mossad with the aim of gathering information and blackmailing famous figures.
Menashe said that British Prince Andrew was also used as an intermediary to bring in prominent figures for Epstein, and that Barak was aware of everything that was happening. Former U.S. Labor Secretary Alexander Acosta also confirmed that Epstein was working for Israeli intelligence.
Black Rituals from Epstein Island to the Globalization of Ritual
Mr. Zahi Wahba writes:
The Epstein scandal is a shining proof that the greatest evil of our time may be a velvety vulgarity of evil, practiced from within palaces between vulgar laughter and fancy champagne. It is the decadence that dresses up in the garb of entertainment, the brutality that speaks the language of business.
In the past two days, the media and social media platforms have been flooded with disgusting news and photos of "leading" figures from around the world who were visiting the island of "suicidal" billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, revealing the ugly face of the supposedly "elites" who lead the "civilized world" and give us lessons in values and civilization.
But it seems that from these documents, which have been released for reasons that are not innocent, obscurantist rituals are held in luxurious rooms frequented by those who decide the fate of peoples, between a cup, a forbidden kiss, a stroke of a pen or the push of a button. Rituals that not only break the taboo of the childish body, but also announce the death of the sacred as a whole.
The Jeffrey Epstein case is not an isolated incident, but a grand metaphor and a window into the original essence of a global power that reduces the universe to a private farm, man into a available commodity, and morality into a situational discourse. Here, where the difference between the decision-room and the pleasure island dissolves, political oppression and sexual exploitation become two sides of the same coin: a power that appropriates the other.
The permissible body and the permissible homeland
The crimes on that island were nothing but a miniature and intense version of the same logic that permissible Palestine, exterminate Gaza, destroy Iraq, and violate the sovereignty of Lebanon. The glut for pleasure, control, and impunity is the very spirit of the colonial project, now embodied in the vaults of power rather than the ships of invasion. Epstein Island was a mini-colony, and the minor victim was the permissible "other," just as the colonized peoples were dehumanized and became mere resources.
This is consistent with the analysis that sees the body as a primary field of power, where techniques of control are tested before being generalized to the social body. What happened on the island was an intimate rehearsal for the atrocities of geopolitics itself: both stem from an appropriation that refuses to acknowledge the sacredness of what is not. It is symbolic violence that is practiced in silence, transforming the atrocity from a flagrant crime into a "single incident", separating the act from its perpetrator and severing the link between sexual exploitation in the shadows and the plundering of wealth in broad daylight.
Money and Power: A Culture of Impunity
Franz Fanon, in his brilliant analysis of the colonial psyche, revealed how colonialism was not merely a land grab, but a systematic invasion of the mind, body, and dignity. The colonizer imposed his perception that his values were "inherently superior" and that his task was to "prepare" others, thus justifying his violence as a "civilized mission." Today, this mentality has not disappeared; it has moved from the military arena to the salons of power. It no longer seeks to occupy only states, but also to occupy the global conscience and justify hegemony through soft and hard tools.
This explains the stark contradiction of elites, or what might be called double consciousness: they deliver human rights speeches and play "civilized" roles, while engaging in secret rituals based on sheer violation. It is the heir to the colonial legitimacy that once justified plunder in the name of civilization, and today it may justify it in the name of "supreme interest," "stability," or "national security," as echoed by a contemporary example like Donald Trump. It is the modernized colonizer mentality that believes that power gives it legitimacy to reshape the world.
The network that protected Epstein is not an out-of-order "evil network," but a natural product of a system that reveres hierarchy and privilege, in which political, military, economic, and media elites form an organic alliance in which maintaining their status becomes the supreme value. In this context, Epstein was a medium of pleasure and a guarantee of silence; his island was a laboratory of loyalty, where deviance was documented to be subject to signal. It is the logic of the mafia in the Tsar's palace: Participation in crime guarantees loyalty.
Dismantling the Dominant Morality
What is more dangerous is not the occurrence of the scandal, but the system's understanding and management of it. The timely release of documents, the redaction of names, and the transformation of the case into a media luxury are all means of turning the systematic pattern into a series of individual incidents. This is the ultimate strategy of the authorities: to avoid confrontation with its purely instrumental moral essence.
In this sense, the collusion with Epstein and the collusion with the Gaza genocide stem from the same moral wellspring: a instrumentalist tendency that makes the "other" – a child or a people – merely a means to an end or an obstacle to be removed. It is the master's ethics in which power prevails, where public morality becomes mere masks to be worn when needed. This explains the international silence applied or complicity in major crimes: The hand that does not tremble to violate the sanctity of a child's body is the same mentality that does not tremble to violate the sanctity of an entire country.
Thus, the contemporary leader who leads the world today with a "strategic vision" is often the one who has been brought up in the arms of this culture, or has become involved in its web of interests. His mentality is that of the colonizer who believes that power gives him legitimacy to reshape the world as he wishes, and that the higher interests (which he determines) transcend all moral or legal considerations.
He is the heir to colonial legitimacy, which has turned the world into a system of "nuclei and periphery", in which power and wealth are concentrated at the center, while the parties are drained and ruled by complicit local elites. Epstein's case, in this sense, is not only a moral scandal, but a revelation of the psychological structure of world governance, a structure that has not shed its colonial features, but has only renewed its tools and masks.
Resisting the Great Vulgarity
The Epstein scandal is a shining proof that the greatest evil of our time may be a velvety vulgarity of evil, practiced from within palaces between vulgar laughter and fancy champagne. It is the decadence that dresses up in the garb of entertainment, the brutality that speaks the language of business.
The resistance of this world lies not only in demanding the trial of names, but in dismantling the theology of privilege and renewed colonial legitimacy that makes the "elite" extraordinarily unaccountable. It is a call to rediscover the common language of humanity, where the body of the child in Gaza, Sudan and Lebanon is as sacred as the body of the child on the ill-fated island.
Perhaps this scandal, as ugly as it is, is a blessing in disguise, as it exposes the psychological structure of world governance that has not gotten rid of its colonial features. Perhaps it will revive the memory of the ignorant and the ignorant that the real battle is not against mythical monsters, but against a system that turns ordinary humans into monsters, turns the world into a big island where everyone is either a victim or a silent partner, and puts us in front of two choices: either to be guardians of the sanctity of life, or to be guests at the banquet of modern cannibals, as they devour the soul Humanity itself is undeterred or deterred.
