Afrasianet - Israeli writer Lior Ackerman, who is also head of national resilience at the Reichmann University's Institute for Policy and Strategy, attacked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and asserted that he would not leave power until he destroyed Israel.

Netanyahu and his government "have spent the past two years trying to destroy, dismantle and destroy every legal system in the country, and this began with Ben-Gvir's seizure of the Israeli police and his direct employment of its officers in violation of all appropriate administrative orders, and engaged in constant fighting against the Attorney General, Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi ,  Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar and Israel Police investigators who dared to question his spokesmen!"

This prime minister, who is supposed to be a symbol and example of the state, behaves throughout his tenure in the most informal way imaginable. He allows all his ministers to attack the head of the Shin Bet, the chief of staff, the former police commissioner, the attorney general, and the judges of the Supreme Court, and even fires his defense minister (Yoav Galant), replacing him with a puppet that lacks understanding and knowledge in this area."

He pointed to Netanyahu's devious methods of refusing to form a government investigation committee and trying to establish a political commission of inquiry that finds everyone guilty of excluding him! "He has brought himself, and apparently also hundreds of army officers and the Shin Bet, the risk of arrest warrants being issued for them by  the International Court of Justice in The Hague," he goes so far as to say.

Ackerman also accuses the Israeli prime minister of suppressing the media, widening divisions and polarization in Israeli society by continuing to enact and fund Haredi evasion laws, calling him "incitement against anyone to whom he does not owe allegiance."

War on the security services and the judiciary

The author then goes on to attack Netanyahu's behavior with the security services, saying that "this time he went with a crazy and absurd 9-minute speech in which he directly attacked the Shin Bet, its superiors, and the Israeli police investigators involved in the investigation, accusing them of exerting illegal pressure in the Shin Bet vaults on the spokesman for his office for security affairs, Eli Feldstein, which he knows does not exist at all."

"All this is in order to protect his community from loyalists and spokespeople who created the famous poison machine in his name," he added.

Ackerman pointed out that Netanyahu's next goal after the dismissal of the defense minister is the attorney general of the government and the head of the Mossad, with the aim of "seizing all law enforcement and order agencies in the country."

"The behavior of the government and its leader directly leads to the destruction of Israeli democracy and society, with complete disregard for the state's needs and security, economic, political and social interests," he concluded, noting that after that "there will be no state and there will be no unified Israeli public, no high-tech, no doctors, scientists and capitalists."

"There is not much left for this government to destroy. After the judicial system, after the media, after the economy, after the education, health and welfare systems, after the failure of transportation infrastructure, and after the worst of all, the failure of security in the events of October 7," he said, adding, "There are only a few small steps left to complete the task, to destroy democracy and establish Bibi (after Bibi Netanyahu) as a new type of regime in Israel."

"A senior member of the Likud Center once told me that Bibi will not leave until the party is completely destroyed. Today it is clear that he does not intend to leave even before he destroys the corners of the entire country."
