Afrasianet - Russian defense said Tuesday that an intensive strike with Kinjal hypersonic missiles yesterday targeted the infrastructure facilities of Ukrainian military airports, as the Russian army liberated two towns in Donetsk.

The Russian defense added in its daily report that the targets of the strike were achieved and the intended sites were hit.

According to the Russian defense, units of the "South" group of forces continued to advance deep into the enemy's defenses and liberated the village of Zuryanoye Pervoye in the Donetsk territory, and also repelled four counterattacks, inflicting losses on the enemy amounting to about 855 soldiers.

Also in Donetsk, units of the "East" group of forces improved their tactical posture and liberated the village of Zolotaya Neva,

while Ukrainian forces in their area of responsibility lost about 115 military personnel.

Here are the other highlights of the Russian defense report:

· Units of the "North" troop group operating on the Liptsy and Volchansk axes in the Kharkov province inflicted losses on the enemy up to 50 soldiers

· Units of the "West" group of forces took control of more convenient lines and positions, striking enemy military forces and equipment in Kharkov, repelling two counterattacks, while Ukrainian losses exceeded 425 soldiers.

· Units of the "Central" group of forces in Donetsk took more convenient positions, repelled 9 counterattacks, and the enemy lost more than 495 military personnel

· Units of the "Dnepr" group targeted hostile military formations and equipment in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, and the Ukrainian army lost about 55 soldiers

· A container ship loaded with ammunition, a warehouse, and a drone production workshop were hit, as well as gatherings of enemy forces and military equipment in 142 areas.

· Three US-made HIMARS missiles and 49 drones were shot down.
