According to a statement issued by the Jordanian People's Committee for Solidarity with Russia, "the launch of the Jordanian People's Committee for Solidarity with Russia was announced from the Jordanian capital, Amman, after several meetings, dialogues and intellectual discussions that brought together a large group of Jordanian institutions, organizations and national figures."
