Afrasianet - The head of the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor, Rami Abdo, announced France's involvement in direct coordination with the Israeli army to implement a plan to displace Palestinian competencies and their families from the Gaza Strip. 

Abdo said he had "obtained information proving the French embassy's involvement in evacuations targeting doctoral holders, doctors, engineers, historians and specialists in culture and antiquities from Gaza."

"A new deportation operation planned for Wednesday is being carried out in complete secrecy and with the direct protection of the Israeli army," he said. 

He continued: "They are collected at dawn in buses in the center of the Gaza Strip, and transported to Ramon airport under the protection of Israeli warplanes, with talk of the possibility of transporting them later through the King Hussein Bridge to Jordan."

He said he had asked for an urgent clarification from the French consulate in Jerusalem, but had not yet received a response, neither from the consulate nor from the French government.

He stressed that "this operation comes within the framework of a broader Israeli plan aimed at emptying Gaza of its scientific and humanitarian elite, in coordination with international parties, led by France."

He pointed out that "there is a new unit in the far-right occupation government – accused of committing genocide in Gaza – that handles the file of the displacement of Palestinians in an orderly and phased manner, starting with those with higher degrees, in preparation for bringing their families later, in an attempt to change the demographic and social structure of the Strip."

Abdo stressed that "French-Israeli cooperation in this context is a flagrant violation of international law, and puts France in front of a heavy moral and legal responsibility, especially in light of its silence on the practices of forced displacement carried out under the cover of humanitarian evacuation."

The Gaza Strip is witnessing an almost complete collapse, especially in the health system, and hundreds of people are dying injured due to the lack of basic medical personnel and equipment, due to the continuation of the Israeli genocidal war for 18 months.
