Afrasianet - The Russian Defense Ministry announced the liberation of 4 towns in the Kursk region and 4 in the Donetsk and Lugansk republics and the Kharkov region, inflicting 8,680 dead on the enemy and hundreds of Western weapons within a week. 

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense's weekly statement on the progress of the military operation in Ukraine: From February 22 to 28, our forces have dealt 9 strikes on Ukrainian forces, their mercenary assemblies, energy sites and vital infrastructure that support the operation of Ukrainian defense institutions, airports, ammunition depots, drones, fuel and Western weapons.

•    Destruction of deployment points for foreign militants and mercenaries.

•    The "North" forces liberated the villages and towns of Bogrebeki, Orlovka, Nikolsky, Novaya Sorochina and continue to clear the outskirts of the Kursk border region of the remnants of the Kiev forces.

•    The "northern" forces inflicted 1,960 military personnel, 11 tanks, 156 armored vehicles, 157 other vehicles, 40 cannons, 3 rocket launchers, 8 electronic warfare stations and 12 ammunition and fuel depots.

•    Russian "Western" forces liberated the towns of Novolobovka in the Lugansk Republic, and Topoli in the Kharkov region of eastern Ukraine, inflicting 1,340 dead on the enemy and destroying a tank and 13 armored vehicles, including 4 American "M113", 33 vehicles, 34 cannons, 13 electronic warfare stations and 13 ammunition depots. 

•    The "South" forces liberated the town of Olakly in the Donetsk Republic, inflicting 1,210 deaths on the enemy and destroying 2 tanks, 9 armored vehicles, 24 vehicles and vehicles, 21 cannons and 7 ammunition depots.

•    The "Center" forces liberated the town of Novoandrevka in the Republic of Donetsk, inflicting 2,340 military personnel on the enemy and destroying 5 tanks, including 3 German "Leopards", 32 armored vehicles, 22 vehicles and vehicles and 25 cannons.

•    The "east" forces continue their advance in Donetsk and inflicted 1,180 personnel on the enemy, 2 tanks, 10 armored vehicles, 21 vehicles, 22 cannons and 3 ammunition depots.

•    Russian defenses dropped 13 French Hummer air bombs, 20 American "Jaddam" air bombs, 9 American "Hemars" missiles and 42 Czech "Vamper" missiles.
