Afrasianet - As part of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement,  the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades , the military wing of Hamas,  on Saturday handed over four captured Israeli female soldiers to  the International Red Cross in Gaza City , as part of the second prisoner exchange.

The handover took place in the Palestine Square in central Gaza, amid a heavy deployment of fighters from the al-Qassam Brigades andthe al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of Islamic Jihad, and the appearance of the Israeli prisoners, wearing uniforms and obese health, caught the attention of social media users.

As photos of the handover spread, social media users began to analyze what they considered "messages and symbols" that the Palestinian resistance wanted to convey to the Israeli side, with some tweeters referring to the symbolism of the Shemagh, Hata, keffiyeh and latham, in addition to carrying weapons, as signals of the resistance's adherence to their land and its defense.

Bloggers considered that the scene of handing over the Israeli female soldiers angered the Israelis, who considered it a humiliating and mocking scene of the occupation army, as the Qassam Brigades dressed them in military uniforms and went up to the podium carrying release certificates and saluting the resisters and the masses, and behind them the phrase "The victory of the oppressed over Zionism" and the Qassam fighters carrying the "Israeli Tavor" guns that they sang from the Israeli forces.

Others drew attention to the phrase "Zionism will not win" written on the podium, surrounded by a large number of resistance fighters and behind them a crowd of citizens.

Some commented on the scene of the signing of the prisoners' handover papers between a Palestinian resistance fighter and a Red Cross employee, considering this evidence of the strength of the resistance's position.

Observers pointed to the prisoners' physical condition and clean military uniforms, considering this evidence of the good treatment they received during their captivity.

According toWissam Afifeh, director of Al-Aqsa Media Network, foreign and Hebrew media outlets tried to reframe the narrative to serve their interests during the coverage of the event by saying that the images  of the "female soldier captives" appear amid a majestic scene highlighting the control of the resistance and its military presence, but Western media commentaries focused on the humanitarian aspect of the four female soldiers, ignoring the broader context of the deal.

The Israeli media used the coverage to recall what it described as "Israeli suffering", in an attempt to shift the focus from the reality of events on the ground in an attempt to obscure the facts on the ground: a resistance that imposes its conditions and rearranges the equations of power, while the occupation remains hostage to its internal conflicts and political restrictions. A scene written in #Gaza and read in a trembling voice with double morals and standards in Western capitals!
