Afrasianet - The head of the Russian Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov announced that Ukraine has become a global "shadow market" for weapons that leak from it into the world's hot spots.

Bortnikov's remarks came during the twentieth meeting of the heads of security and intelligence services of the CIS countries in Moscow, where he continued: "The consciousness of the Ukrainian people has been reshaped in an anti-Russian direction, at a time when the mass purchase of Ukrainian land, natural resources and factories is being carried out by multinational companies, and the region is now a magnet for mercenaries and terrorists from all over the world."

"A global shadow arms market has been established in Ukraine, where weapons are continuously transported to conflict zones," Bortnikov said.
