Afrasianet - The Political Advisor to the Free Army, the opposition in Syria, Abu Yaqoub, said that the coalition forces are planning to establish a military base for the guerrillas "revolution commandos" in the area of Shaddadi near Deir Ezzor.
Abu Yaqoub said in a statement quoted by the Jordanian newspaper "Al Ghad" that the aim of the transfer of the forces of the "Commandos" is to control the city of Deir al-Zour, which is currently the most important goal for all the forces of conflict.
The International Alliance offered the Armed Opposition, especially the Army of the Revolution Commanders, which controls the Tanf crossing between Syria and Iraq, to assist in the establishment of a military base in the Shaddadi area, near Deir Al-Zour.
Coalition Forces informed the Free Army that they were ready to transport 100 members of the Revolutionary Commanders' Army with their equipment to the new base.
It is noteworthy that Al-Shaddadi is located in Al-Hasakah governorate, northeast of Syria.
Al-Qaeda will be the third military base of the Revolutionary Commanders' Army, which is also home to coalition forces, after the two al-Tuf and al-Askaf bases, some 70 kilometers apart, along the control areas of the army on the Syrian-Iraqi border.
The choice of the Shaddadi area to establish the military base, according to Abu Yaqub, for proximity to the oil fields in the direction of Deir al-Zour.
Saif Saif, a media officer in the Free Army, said the coalition wanted to establish a military base for its dissatisfaction with the behavior of Syria's democratic forces "in the course of the battles in the north of Syria."
Saif pointed out that there is a state of rebellion by the "Ksd", and it is likely that "there is regret" by the coalition to arm this faction with sophisticated weapons, especially as there is pressure on the Turkish coalition in this regard.
