The Europeans and the Bills to Get Rid of Trump's Grip

Afrasianet - Michel Clagasy - Trump's chaotic attitudes, policy toward NATO, and threats to withdraw from NATO have all motivated the hawks of leaders in Europe — Britain, France, and Germany — to build their own security system.

Since the middle of the last century, the United States has begun to use its economic and military-political tools to consolidate its influence in Europe and bring it into the orbit of strategic dependency, through its economic reconstruction after the World War, and dragging it towards the gradual expansion of alliances Its political elites lost their independence in making major decisions, and began to revolve within the framework of agendas imposed from abroad, and could not understand and understand that the American regime's dependence on foreign resources made it aggressive and expansionist, and in constant need of new sources of funding and dependency.

Since the beginning of the current century, with the retreat of the American regime in front of major powers such as Russia and China, and the increasing magnitude of the international change in the global security structure as a result of the acute conflicts in Ukraine in the first place, the United States had to deal with the new reality in Europe as the guarantor of the security of NATO countries, but the chaotic positions and policy of President Trump towards NATO, and his constant criticism of his European allies for the weakness of their defense spending and the need to increase it, in addition to his threats to withdraw from NATO, are all things that motivated the hawks of the leaders in Europe – Britain, France and Germany – to move towards building their own security system without relying entirely on the "American umbrella".

While the United States has ensured the sale of its weapons to NATO at the expense of the Europeans, and has retained the ability to influence their military plans in the event of a major conflict with Russia, the Europeans must take bold steps in their relations with the United States on the one hand, and confirm how serious they are by waging a direct war on Russia on the other hand, or by looking for a suitable way out of the Ukrainian crisis and paying its price for the second time in front of their peoples, which may include the fall of them, their corrupt governments and elites, and by rolling the ball of fall towards the Union The European has swept many with it, starting with Rutte, Ursula von der Leyen, Kaia Kallas, and others.

In their attempts to avert this catastrophe, the British have recently approached the French, and today they are approaching the Germans, trying to show their commitment to their allies, in contrast to their long history of deceiving the allies, at a time when Britain and Germany do not have the resources to restore joint military capabilities, and they have never signed joint defense treaties amid the blurring vision of who the enemy they will fight together.

What will the hawkish leaders gain when they are playing the role of compares in the great international game in which Russia and the United States play the main roles, or are they just evading and looking for excuses to escape Trump's grip and get rid of his dictates by increasing their defense spending, and buying American weapons at their own expense for the benefit of NATO, or is it their plan to send a distress message to Moscow that Europe currently poses no threat to Russia?

The question remains: will this contagion spread and expand in Europe, and will witness more similar bilateral agreements, so that the hawks of European leaders will be able to block Trump's plans to make "America Great Again", at the expense of German, British, French, and European funds in general, or will these agreements remain within the framework of British exploitation of the Germans, the French, and the European Union countries within the framework of future secret British plans?
