America and behind it the West and the moral fall and degeneration in double standards

Afrasianet - Zakaria Shaheen - Certainly, Western countries, led by the United States, have sought over half a century of pressure, funding and distortion of history in order to end the Palestinian cause, and the normalization agenda was the most important in a malicious strategy aimed at harming the cause of Arabs and Muslims.

For decades, some have deluded themselves, including some Palestinians, that the United States of America can be a mediator to make peace between the Zionists and the Palestinians, while selling them illusions to allow time for the Zionist entity to occupy the rest of Palestine and liquidate the issue, as revealed in the documents of the conspiracy to displace Palestinians from Gaza to Sinai, and then displace Palestinians from the West Bank to Jordan or the Anbar desert, and then displace the Palestinians who remained on their land since 1948 to Lebanon and Syria.

"The flood of Al-Aqsa, which was not a qualitative operation of the Palestinian resistance, but rather a warning bell about what is being hatched for the Arabs by Western countries that stood by the Zionist entity to justify its massacres, which killed more than 4,000 martyrs so far, most of them children and women," came to "the flood of Al-Aqsa."

The Jordanian foreign minister pointed out that "the principles of human rights and other ideas sung by Western countries show their falsity after they remained silent about the extermination of an entire people in the Gaza Strip and the rest of the Palestinian cities."

Operation "Al-Aqsa Flood", carried out by the Palestinian resistance against the Israeli occupation forces, has exposed the falsity and double standards of the West towards the Palestinian cause, in support of the occupation state and its crimes against the Palestinians.

From America to France and European Union officials, they all agreed to support the crimes and violations of the Israeli occupation state against Palestine and its people, and to recognize that the occupying power has the right to defend itself and commit massacres against the children, women and youth of Gaza.

What was striking and confirms the double standards of these Western standards was the explicit Western sympathy with Ukraine during the recent Russian war against it, where it was clear frank sympathy with Ukraine, while in Israel's war on Gaza, the West considered that "Israel has the right to defend itself."

In Russia's war on Ukraine, French President Emmanuel Macron considered that what Ukraine is exposed to is a "war crime", as for what is happening to Gaza in particular and Palestine in general, Macron openly declared his support for Israel and its crimes, saying, "I declare my full solidarity with Israel in its war against terrorism."

Germany's position did not differ from the French position, as German Chancellor Olaf Scholz denounced the Russian army's killing of countless Ukrainian citizens, and regarding Gaza, he explicitly stressed "standing by Israel and that the West agreed that Israel has the right to defend itself against inhumane attacks."

Russia, which was forced to defend its national security against the United States of America and its successors the European vassals, and which is now fighting the Atlantic with all its capabilities, stood like China in support of the struggle of the Palestinian people and their right to resistance.

Among other positions that lead the scene in support of the Israeli occupation state is the American position, as the US president described his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin and because of Ukraine as a "war criminal", while regarding Gaza, he announced that he told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that he "stands by the Israeli people in the face of terrorist attacks, and that Israel has the right to defend itself and its people certainly."

Many of them social media users denounce the double standards of the West, saying that "for decades, the West and America have been talking about the basic values of human rights represented in human dignity and equality, and we have understood human rights by defining those basic standards necessary to secure a decent life, and now we know that a decent life only concerns certain groups of the world, according to their point of view.

But this is not surprising for Western countries and is not new to them, and those who expect support or assistance from these are nothing but madness and stupidity, adding that we must not forget that "the one who established the Zionist entity is Britain and its sisters," according to them.

All the while, Western duplicity and positions were present, and we must pay attention to silence on all Israel's crimes and non-implementation of Security Council resolutions, and all the time there was a Western, Anglo-French-American umbrella of protection, and even Western human rights assessments that say that Israel has become an apartheid state are ignored."

Sometimes words are manipulated to hide or embellish this duality, and we must also be aware that talking about a solution in Palestine always comes from Israel's interest, that is, when observing Western talk about the two-state solution, a Palestinian state or a settlement, we see that it comes from the door of defending "Israel" and legitimizing its right to exist, as it is said in the Israeli expression.

"The Gaza war exposed all this silence on the injustice of the Palestinian people and their siege, and when the Palestinian people exploded, news, pictures and evidence were fabricated, and there were no crimes, child killings or rape of women, and even to say that the Palestinian people do not have the right to rise up, defend themselves, resist or explode, is outside the borders of the international community, which is dominated by the West in general."

All Western countries were quick to express sympathy for  Israel as a victim, while the United States went to announce the provision of military and non-military aid urgently, sent its aircraft carrier Gerald Ford to the eastern Mediterranean, and reinforced its flights at its bases in the region, noting that "the United States decided to give Israel enough time to settle its accounts with Hamas." It is now sending its funerals, according to the Zionist media, to continue planning what the American Zionist army is preparing not only for Palestine but for the entire region.

"The racism of the West and the double standards they deal with  between the Zionists and Gaza have  made them partners in killing any Palestinian, there are no longer international institutions and a neutral international system between the disputants, everyone supports the Zionists against Gaza, and the worst is that the Arab typographers and the Zionists have become a knife in the side of the resistance," as they put it.

Jordanian Foreign Minister Safadi said Jordan said that international law should not be applied selectively according to nationality, identity and religion, and international law should be applied "strictly."

He added that the common human values and all our humanity say that there is no difference between a victim and a victim according to his whereabouts, according to the place where the crime was committed or according to the identity of the perpetrator, saying: "The Palestinians are no less human than the Israelis and the Palestinians are no less humane than Ukraine."

He pointed out that the international law that you carried as a basis for all efforts to stop the Ukrainian crisis, as it must also be applied to the Palestinian cause and to what the Palestinian people are facing; this double standard cannot be accepted or tolerated.

At a time when the Ukraine crisis is of great concern to the international community, the United States and its Western allies continued to play the chord of "supporting the sovereignty of Ukraine" while raising the slogan of "human rights", which contradicts the historical facts that show the blatant interference of the United States and other Western countries in the internal affairs of other countries, especially in the Middle East, to clearly expose America's double standards.

Many experts and the Arab public see the United States as the main instigator and driver of the Ukrainian-Russian conflict. After the start of the fighting between Ukraine and Russia, it made great publicity for the humanitarian crisis, forgetting the humanitarian disasters it had created in the Middle East, without taking the slightest responsibility for it.

Mohammed al-Jubouri, a professor of media at the Iraqi University, said that the issue of displaced people from Ukraine exposed the falsity of American and Western claims and the extent of their commitment to human rights, and showed the true face of this West in terms of its practice of racial discrimination and double standards.

"We all know what happened to the displaced in Iraq, Syria and Yemen and the cause of the Palestinian people, whose lands were occupied and many of them were expelled, and in the face of all this, the Americans and the West remained silent, as if the inhabitants of this region are not human beings or of a lower degree," he said.

He pointed out that the Western and European media have highlighted the issue of displaced Ukrainians and are trying to make it a humanitarian catastrophe, while when there were millions of displaced people from the regions of the Middle East, the Western media ignored the suffering of those displaced people who were caused by American and Western policy to leave their countries.

The Iraqi academic considered that these discriminatory attitudes practiced by the Western media, especially the American ones, have a negative impact on the whole world, as they turn the right null and void really, in order to tame the peoples and make them believe in the American and Western narratives, which contributes to the dismantling of peoples, especially the peoples of the third world, and thus these peoples and countries become at the mercy of the West and America.

He added that these discriminatory attitudes lead to a loss of trust and credibility between countries because the Americans and the West apply double standards and according to their own interests without caring about the interests of the rest of the peoples and countries of the world.

"Blond", "Blue Eyes", "Whites", "Those fleeing war are not like Syrian refugees", "Here is not Afghanistan, not Iraq, war is happening in civilized Europe"... Words and phrases have emerged from time to time recently, exposing the deep-rooted racial bias and double standards of some Western journalists in their coverage of the Ukraine crisis, underscoring the hypocrisy of  "double standards" and leading to great resentment and disappointment among audiences in the Middle East.

"The United States practices double standards in dealing with the humanitarian file. It says or claims that it cares about the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, but at the same time it ignores the humanitarian crises that it is fabricating in the Middle East, in Iraq, Syria and Yemen, as well as in Lebanon and a number of other countries, whether through its intervention and military presence in the region or through its imposition of an economic blockade or unilateral economic terrorism that would exacerbate humanitarian files and increase their complications, and  now it is revealing its blatant face by supporting the Zionist entity that kills the children of Palestine and destroys Goa considers it self-defense.

"While we declare our solidarity with the victims of armed conflicts, we reiterate our condemnation of the continuation of the policy of double standards and double standards pursued by the United States and its Western allies, which has dropped even the fig leaf on all human rights values and standards," said Salah Abdel Aty, a political expert in Gaza.

Abdel Ati added that the positions of some countries, including Washington, towards "the Israeli aggression against  the Palestinian people are immoral, and do not rise to the level of harm that the Palestinian people are subjected to daily in all areas of their presence. How now when he is facing the American weapons that are placed on the heads of the children of Gaza and Palestine?

One Syrian citizen, Ali Issa, said that the United States is the main cause of all our crises, as it continues to steal our wealth and wealth while invoking the protection of Syrian refugees, and sending its troops to our country to protect oil, of which we no longer see anything.

He added that for any country in the world, whether in our country, in Ukraine or in any country in the world, the United States claims humanity and claims that it wants to help, but it only wants looting and exploitation, and this is what we have experienced and seen it do in our country.
