In an extraordinary scene at Germany's Allianz Arena during the Champions League final against Inter Milan, French fans held up a huge banner reading "Stop the genocide in Gaza", in a moment that was etched in the memory of the millions who watched the match.
This scene coincided with the coronation of Paris Saint-Germain European title for the first time in its history, after a sweeping victory by five goals without reply.
Activists expressed their overwhelming happiness with the victory of the French team, which "deserved to be crowned", in appreciation of the sympathy of its fans with the Palestinian cause, and their refusal to remain silent in the face of the genocide against the people of Gaza, in a confrontation that the whole world followed.
Tweeters stressed that the high sportsmanship of the fans, and their refusal to condone crimes against innocent people, made the presence of the Voice of Gaza in the "most important match on earth" an event comparable to the sports competition itself.

Other activists said that global solidarity with Gaza needs to be translated into action to stop the war and end the tragedy that has lasted for more than 600 days for the residents of the Strip.
Others highlighted the Arab silence, which they described as "deafening", compared to the vitality of the Western stands, considering that the real glory lies in taking to the field, fighting injustice and exposing brutality against innocent people.
Several digital platforms saluted the strong public stand against "savagery" against the people of Gaza, praising the value of victory for humanity and the clear messages of solidarity with the Palestinian people in light of the ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip.
