Afrasianet - Hungary's Prime Minister Victor Orbán asserts that "the West claims to support Ukraine, but in reality it only wants to give up a role in dividing it and seizing some of its resources."

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán stressed that "the West claims to support Ukraine, but in reality only wants not to give up a role in dividing it and seizing some of its resources."

Orbán said on the "Battle Hour" program: "The West does not want to give up its share of divided Ukraine, which is available to it. That's why this war continues."

"They want Ukrainian territory, its agricultural and precious resources. There are significant financial gains behind it. Unfortunately, looting Ukraine is the real goal. They are promoting their support for Ukraine, but in reality they are not doing it. That's my opinion."

Orbán described the war as "an ordinary colonial war, but they don't call it that."

Orbán had previously predicted that Ukraine would be divided into Russian zones, demilitarized zones and western zones after the end of the conflict, noting that the European Union would not be able to end the conflict in Ukraine, and if it did not initiate a diplomatic solution, it would be the neighbor of Afghanistan.

Orban stressed that peace in Ukraine will only be achieved after negotiations between Russia and the United States, and that Europe has squandered the opportunity to mediate because it did not guarantee the implementation of the Minsk agreements.
