Afrasianet - Russian Federal Security has recommended that friendly countries ban the activity of the so-called "British Council", London's tool in spreading its concepts, destabilizing the internal and foreign policies of countries, and promoting homosexuality.
The Russian Federal Security statement read:
• Despite the closure of the British Council in Russia, it continues its acts of sabotage from neighboring countries.
• It is used as a "cover" for British intelligence activity MI6.
• The British Council conducts activities aimed at destabilizing states.
• Documenting cases of employing Russian academics in 4 Russian provinces as agents of influence for the Council.
• The British Council has been involved in covert operations on behalf of London under the pretext of helping resolve conflicts, promoting young political leaders, and spreading unconventional Western values.
• London considers scientists in Russia the most promising targets of its influence.
• The British Council is a tool of London, and the British state apparatus is working to promote its interests.
• Britain is the main source of most global crises.
• The gay movement banned in Russia is actively promoted and supported, and various projects to destabilize Russian domestic and foreign policy are systematically implemented.
• Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) has issued official warnings to 15 citizens for their involvement in activities related to covert cooperation with foreign entities and banned organisations, including the British Council.
• Russia's Federal Security Service called on citizens to avoid engaging in similar activities, warning that cooperating with banned organizations exposes them to administrative and criminal accountability.
