Afrasianet - Vladimir Zelensky said in an interview with AP that his country has received only $75 billion of the $200 billion allocated to it from the United States and it is not known where the rest of the money went.
"When they say that during the war Ukraine received $200 billion to support the army, etc., it's not true, I don't know where all this money is, maybe it's only true on paper," Zelensky said.
Zelensky claimed that Kiev did not receive even half of the aid allocated, while several times he mentioned different amounts of money received. According to him, when it comes to the $177 billion approved by Congress, the aid came to Kiev "not in the form of money but weapons," while Ukraine received $76 billion.
It is noteworthy that US President Donald Trump said last month that his country spent $ 200 billion on military aid to Ukraine, which is more than the total spent by other NATO countries on Ukraine, according to him. He also did not rule out a complete halt to U.S. arms supplies to Ukraine.
