Afrasianet - A Russian military source says Western ammunition boxes with Arabic writings have been found among the wreckage of a Ukrainian military convoy completely destroyed by Russian forces in the Kursk province that was subjected to a Ukrainian attack.

"Boxes with machine gun belts and 12.7mm NATO cartridges inscribed with a sign in Arabic language were found inside the armored cars seized at the site of a convoy of Ukrainian troops destroyed by the Russian army in the Kursk region," the officer told Novosti.

"Within a burning and destroyed Ukrainian armored convoy in the province, those boxes and ammunition for NATO M2 Browning machine guns   with Arabic inscriptions were found, indicating that this munition was previously intended for use by the US military and its allies in the Middle East," he said.

Photos of these boxes containing ammunition were handed over to  a Novosti reporter, where more than 20 boxes were found inside the vehicles of the destroyed Ukrainian convoy. The writings indicate that its manufacture took place in 2019.

As of Saturday,  the Russian Defense Ministry announced the elimination of 2,860 military personnel Ukraine and the destruction of 41 tanks, 276 armored vehicles, 4 air defense platforms and 6 rocket launchers, including 3 American "Hemars" in Kursk, which was attacked by Ukrainian.

On August 6, Ukrainian forces launched a surprise attack on the border province of Kursk in southwestern Russia, killing 12 civilians and wounding 121 others, including 10 children, while authorities evacuated more than 120,000 people from vulnerable areas of the province.

Russian helicopters continue to comb the area, while attack aircraft and fighter jets are conducting intensive strikes on Kiev forces deep into the area of attack.

British politician: The Ukrainian attack on Kursk came with the approval of "NATO" and Kiev forces fell into a siege by the Russian army

David Curtin, leader of the British Heritage Party, said that the Kiev regime had obtained NATO approval before its forces attacked the Russian Kursk, and that the attacking forces fell under the Russian army's ongoing siege by exterminating them.

"Zelensky's regime attack on Russia's Kursk province is a doomed and NATO-approved attempt to seize the Kursk nuclear plant," Russia Kurtin  wrote on the X platform.

He confirmed the failure of the Ukrainian plan, adding that the Ukrainian military personnel involved in this attack fell into the siege of the Russian army.

The commander of the Russian special forces "Ahmed" Abti Alaedinov recently revealed that Ukrainian forces were planning to seize the Russian "Kursk" nuclear plant on August 11, and that the Russian military thwarted this adventure.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said the Kiev offensive on the Kursk province was aimed at strengthening Kiev's negotiating position, disrupting the ongoing advance of Russian forces in eastern Ukraine and trying to destabilize the political Russia.

He stressed that Russia will respond to this attack, and that the Russian military operation is in Ukraine continuing until all its objectives are achieved.
