Under the Microscope: Transnational Corporations Supporting the Genocide in Occupied Palestine In Support of the Genocide in Gaza

Star InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar Inactive

Afrasianet - The genocidal war waged by Israel against the Gaza Strip and the West Bank raises several questions about the greatest beneficiaries of this war. In this report, we shed light on the major monopolistic corporations that support this war, taking advantage of the world's silence and lack of accountability.

What is striking is that when the issue of the day after the war on Gaza is raised, these same companies present themselves as ready to participate in the reconstruction of the Strip, whether with heavy equipment, temporary housing, or even reconstruction, hinting that they know that oil-rich Arab countries, such as the Gulf states, are ready to pay the costs.

Trading in the blood of peoples aspiring to be liberated from the yoke of colonialism and struggling against imperialism is a clear characteristic of the work of these companies, which reap enormous profits through their support for genocide and other means of war.

The economic aspect cannot be overlooked to benefit from the war of extermination waged by Israel and supported by the United States of America, despite its ugliness and criminal violence, where companies that do not care about ethics that they consider a romantic matter refer to by dreamers of an ideal world that will never be realized.

The companies listed here have supplied Israel with weapons and other military equipment used in its attacks on Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, and Syria since October 2023.

*Companies marked with (*) are included in our shortlist for divestment. The list below is not intended to be used as a divestment list or boycott list, as it includes many private companies, as well as limited or one-time participation companies.

Since October 2023, Israel has launched unprecedented air and ground attacks on Gaza following Hamas-led attacks on Israel. Tens of thousands of Palestinians have been killed in Gaza at a historic pace , most of them unarmed civilians, and most Gazans have been displaced. These attacks amount to genocide, according to a preliminary ruling by the International Court of Justice , a US federal court , as well as dozens of UN experts and legal scholars.

Israel's attacks in Gaza have been accompanied  by an escalation in Israeli violence against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, clashes between the Israeli army and armed groups in Lebanon, and Israeli airstrikes in Syria.

Shortly after October 7, the U.S. government began transferring massive quantities of weapons to Israel. By 25 December,  Israel had received more than 10,000 tons of weapons on 244 cargo planes and 20 ships from the United States.  These shifts included more than 15,000 bombs and 50,000 artillery shells in the first month and a half alone. These shifts were deliberately kept secret to avoid public scrutiny and to prevent Congress from exercising any meaningful oversight.

Between October and the beginning of March,  the United States approved more than 100 military sales to Israel, but only publicly disclosed two sales. The Arms Trade Forum maintains  a  list of known U.S. arms transfers.

Most of these weapons were purchased with U.S. taxpayer money through the Foreign Military Sales Program, while some were direct commercial sales through Israel's budget.

An undeclared amount of weapons was also transferred from US Army stockpiles already stored in Israel, known as the War Allies-Israel ( WRSA-I) stockpiles. The use of stockpiles of war-allies-Israel to supply Israel with weapons further clouds the full picture of U.S. arms transfers, as there is no public record of stockpiles of such stockpiles.

The scale of destruction and war crimes in Gaza would not have reached this level without this steady flow of weapons from the United States. Despite massive public protests, the Biden administration has worked to give Israel more than  $14 billion to buy more weapons.

That's in addition to the $3.8 billion the United States already provides to the IDF annually. Israel should use these funds to buy U.S.-made weapons. This is a form of corporate welfare not only for the largest arms manufacturers, such as Lockheed Martin, RTX, Boeing, and General Dynamics, whose share prices have skyrocketed , but also for companies that are not usually seen as part of the arms industry, such as Caterpillar, Ford, and Toyota (see below).

As a Quaker organization with a long history of working in Palestine and Israel , including Gaza, AFSC  supports a comprehensive arms embargo on Israeli and Palestinian armed groups. This list focuses on weapons used by Israel, as all Palestinian armed groups are already sanctioned and receive no support from Western governments or companies.

This research draws on media sources, social media, and other open sources. The information was also collected by Who Wins and  the Israeli Military and Security Export Database, a project of    the Israeli organization New Profile . We welcome any additional information, please contact us.

Atmospheric environment

A military drone manufacturer headquartered in Arlington, Virginia.

Around October 30,  Israel ordered 200 AeroVironment Switchblade 600 Kamikaze drones, an advanced direct-fire missile system that acts as a "suicide drone." It was not immediately clear whether Israel had delivered or used the drones.

For more information about this company (except for these recent developments), see  the company profile on the Investigate database.

Agillette

A private Israeli company that manufactures tactical equipment and protective armor has been announcing since October 7 that  the IDF used its equipment in its ground invasion of Gaza. For example, on December 6,  the company published a photo of Israeli soldiers wearing Agilight tactical equipment with the caption "Search and destroy #swordsofiron." The company's equipment is sold to at least 34 dealers in the United States and can be purchased via U.S. contract vehicles.

Imppoint AB

A private Swedish company, based in Malmö, specializes in the development of reflective binoculars/reflex scopes for firearms.  The Israeli military  has been using its products since prior to August 2023. Specifically,  Aimpoint Red Dot  reflective binoculars (CompM5 or CompM4) were spotted in use by Israeli soldiers operating inside the Gaza Strip. Since 2023, Emtan  has been marketing  Aimpoint products in Israel (see below).

Amazon

The Israeli military has publicly acknowledged using Amazon Web Services (AWS) to enhance its capabilities during its war on Gaza, along with Google and Microsoft's cloud services.

Of these three companies, Amazon is said to have the closest relationship with the Israeli military.

Israeli Military Intelligence uses AWS servers to store vast amounts of intelligence on almost everyone in Gaza.

Since 2021, Amazon has been providing cloud services to the Israeli government under Project Nimbus, a  $1.2 billion contract it shares with Google.

Amazon provides cloud services to all branches of the Israeli government, including the military, the Shin Bet security service, the police, the prison service, the arms manufacturer Israel Aerospace Industries and Rafael, and government agencies related to Israel's illegal settlement project in the occupied West Bank.

For resources and more information, see this company's profile on the Investigate database.

A.M. General

A manufacturer of military vehicles, based in South Bend, Indiana. The IDF used the company's high-mobility multipurpose Humvee in Gaza. The armor of these vehicles is manufactured by the company "Plasan".

On November 5, the Israeli military reportedly used Humvees, accompanied by tanks and other armored vehicles, to drive a "supply convoy" to Gaza.

On November 8, the Israeli military again used Humvees to transport Israeli media reporters to Gaza.

On December 6, a US cargo plane delivered additional Humvees to Israel.

In addition to Oshkosh ,  AM General also manufactures the joint light tactical vehicle.

*BAE Systems

BA Systems, the world's seventh-largest arms manufacturer, manufactures the M109 howitzer, a 155mm mobile artillery system widely used by the IDF , firing tens of thousands of 155mm shells into the Gaza Strip.

Some of these shells are bombs containing white phosphorus, which  is prohibited for use in densely populated civilian areas and may amount to a war crime.

The Israeli  M109 guns were manufactured in the United States decades ago and have undergone several improvements in Israel.

It will be gradually replaced by the 155mm ROM/Sigma cannon, the world's first fully automatic howitzer, produced by Elbit Systems in Israel.

BAE also manufactures electronic missile launch kits and other components for Israeli F-15, F-16 and F-35 fighter jets, which the Israeli Air Force has used extensively in all of its attacks on Gaza, including in 2023.

For more information about this company (except for these recent developments), see  the company profile on the Investigate database.

*Boeing Corporation

Boeing is the world's fifth-largest arms manufacturer, manufacturing F-15 fighter jets and Apache AH-64 attack helicopters, which have been extensively used by the Israeli Air Force in all of its attacks on Gaza and Lebanon, including the 2023 attacks.

Boeing manufactures Joint Direct Attack (JDAM) munitions, which convert General  Dynamics' MK-80 series unguided bombs (see below) into guided munitions. Israel has used these bombs on a large scale, including:

•    On March 27, an airstrike targeted an emergency and relief center in Habariyeh, southern Lebanon, killing seven civilian volunteers.

•    According to the human rights organization, this was "an unlawful attack on civilians, which did not take all necessary precautions" and "must be investigated as a clear war crime."

•    The bombing  of Gaza's Jabalia refugee camp, which has killed hundreds of Palestinian civilians, may amount to a war crime , according to the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.

•    The shelling on 10 and 22 October 2023 killed  24 members of the al-Najjar family and 19 members of the Abu Mu'aileq family in Deir al-Balah, in what Amnesty International  described as "unlawful airstrikes on homes full of civilians" that may amount to a war crime.

Boeing also manufactures the 250-pound  GBU-39 small-diameter guided bomb  (SDB),  which is widely used by the Israeli Air Force.

According to the New York Times and CNN , Israel dropped two such bombs in its May 26,  2024 airstrike on the Tel al-Sultan refugee camp in Rafah. The attack caused a massive fire that killed at least 45 people, most of them civilians.

Immediately after October 7,  2023,  Boeing quickly delivered 1,000 small-diameter bombs, and another 1,800 units  of Joint Direct Attack (JDAM) munitions, to Israel. The shipments were part of an older order made by Israel in 2021 during its previous large-scale assault on Gaza.

Headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, the company has significant production facilities outside of Los Angeles, Seattle and St. Louis. For more locations, please see this map .

For more information about this company (except for these recent developments), see  the company profile on the Investigate database.

* Caterpillar

For decades, Caterpillar has supplied Israel with the   D9 armored bulldozer, which the Israeli military routinely uses to demolish Palestinian homes and civilian infrastructure in the occupied West Bank and impose a blockade on the Gaza Strip.

D9  armored bulldozers played a crucial role in Israel's ground invasion of the Gaza Strip, escorting fighting forces and demolishing their route by clearing roads and demolishing buildings.

D9 bulldozers were also used in raids on Palestinian cities in the occupied West Bank, including Jenin and Tulkarem , where a bulldozer was used to destroy a monument to former Palestinian President Yasser Arafat. The deliberate destruction of cultural heritage sites during an armed conflict  is a war crime.

Since December 2023, D9 bulldozers and other heavy equipment have  systematically destroyed civilian buildings and other property along the Gaza border, creating a half-mile-wide "buffer zone" covering about 16 percent of the territory. According to the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights , "the widespread destruction of property, not justified by military necessity and carried out unlawfully and arbitrarily, amounts to a grave breach of the Fourth Geneva Convention and a crime War."

On December 16,  2923, Israeli bulldozers reportedly "ran over and crushed displaced people inside their tents in the yard of Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahiya," killing several people in the process.

In February 2023, caterpillar bulldozers and other heavy machinery were involved in the construction of a new road running through the Gaza Strip from east to west, designed to facilitate long-term "Israeli logistical and military control of the area."

On March 28, 2023, a  military bulldozer, likely made by Caterpillar, was photographed dragging and burying in the sand the bodies of two Palestinian men shot dead by Israeli soldiers. Before they were killed, the two men appeared unarmed, and at least one was seen repeatedly waving "what appeared to be a white cloth."

Israel issued an urgent request for dozens of additional D9 armored bulldozers after October 7.

Some Israeli  D9T  bulldozers have converted into remotely operated or semi-autonomous vehicles, so that they can operate without a driver in "complex" and "high-risk" areas. In November 2023, Israel Aerospace Industries, the company that transfers bulldozers, modified more IDF units for its operations in Gaza.

For more information about this company (except for these recent developments), see  the company profile on the Investigate database.

*Silbright

During its genocidal attacks on Gaza, Israel used Cellebrite  tools to collect data from the phones of thousands of Palestinians captured and abducted from Gaza. While Israeli media claimed that these individuals were all members of armed groups,  the Israeli military later acknowledged that the vast majority of them were civilians .

Cellebrite also received  funding from the Pentagon's Innovation Unit to develop a product for mapping underground tunnels in the Gaza Strip.

Cisco

Between November 2023 and January 2024, the IDF purchased Cisco servers and associated "professional services" worth more than $2 million.

Cisco devices power the IDF's central data center, which integrates hundreds of combat, intelligence, command and control systems.

The company also provides the IDF with its own unified communications system, which allows the exchange of information between different military units, and the Webex video conferencing system .

Cisco also supports the Israeli police and illegal settlements in the occupied West Bank.

In December 2024, Cisco employees filed a lawsuit against the company, alleging that it had unlawfully suppressed their concerns about Israel's use of its technologies.

For resources and more information, see this company's profile on the Investigate database.

*Colts Manufacturing Company

Colt Manufacturing manufactures firearms, including the M16, the standard assault rifle used by the Israeli army from the nineties to the early 2000s. Many of the old  M16  rifles are still in use by the Israeli military and police.

Israel asked Colt to purchase about 18,000 M4 and MK18 assault rifles, out of 24,000 assault rifles from American companies. Israel allocates these firearms to newly formed civilian "security teams" in dozens of cities and towns, including illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank.

US State Department officials, who are obliged to approve the sale of machine guns, have expressed concern that these weapons are being used to displace Palestinian civilians from their land in the occupied West Bank. While  Israel has ensured that these rifles will only be used by government actors,  the United States has reportedly deferred a shipment of 4,500 rifles from the same order.

Colt is headquartered in Hartford, Connecticut, and is owned by Czech firearms manufacturer Colt CZ Group (CZP).

For more information about this company (except for these recent developments), see  the company profile on the Investigate database.

Corsite AA

Corsite has developed an AI-based facial recognition app for the Israeli army to conduct mass surveillance of Palestinians in Gaza. According to the New York Times , "Israeli soldiers entering Gaza were equipped with cameras equipped with this technology.

Soldiers have also set up checkpoints on main roads used by Palestinians to flee areas of heavy fighting, equipped with face scanning cameras."

The company is headquartered in Israel and is jointly owned by Israel's Cortica and Canadian venture capital firm Awz Ventures.

Day and Zimmerman

A private munitions manufacturing company, based in Philadelphia.

It operates the Iowa Army (IAAP) ammunition factory, which supplies the IDF with most artillery munitions, including 155mm shells, fired by Israeli M109 howitzers, and M830A1 high-explosive anti-tank (HEAT) 120mm shells, fired by Israeli Merkava battle tanks.

Mason & Hangar  has been operating the plant since 1951. Between 1998 and 2007, it was operated by American Ordnance, a joint venture between Mason & Hangar and General Dynamics. Day & Zimmerman acquired Mason & Hangar in 1999, and in 2007, acquired General Dynamics' stake in American Ordnance.

Israeli tanks   fired M830A1  shells as part of their attack on a UN school in Gaza.

The serial number of one of the shells indicates that they were manufactured in IAAP by Mason & Hanger in December 1990.

Israeli tanks  fired M830A1  shells in their attack that killed six-year-old Hind Rajab , her six family members and paramedics who tried to rescue her in the Tel al-Hawa neighbourhood of Gaza.

The serial number of the explosive bullet found inside the ambulance indicates that it was manufactured at IAAP by Mason & Hanger in November 1996.

The US government used emergency measures to approve the sending of an estimated 14,000 M830A1  tank shells to Israel, without congressional review.

These transfers, from the U.S. military's existing stockpile, amount to $106.5 million, funded by U.S. taxpayer funds.

The Day & Zimmerman plant in Texarkana, Texas, is  the current supplier of M830A1  missiles to the U.S. Army. Between 2017 and 2021,  the Northrop Grumman plant in Plymouth, Minnesota, was the supplier of these munitions to the U.S. Army.

DJI

A private Chinese company for the manufacture of commercial drones.

The Israeli military uses its drones for multiple purposes, including most recently as small "killer drones" in Gaza.

*Elbit Systems

Elbit Systems , Israel's largest arms manufacturer, is one of the main suppliers of weapons and surveillance systems to the IDF, including Skylark and Hermes military drones, which make up the majority of Israel's large drone fleet and have been widely used in Gaza.

Israel uses  Elbit MPR-500 multipurpose bombs in its attacks on the Gaza Strip. Designed  for use in "densely populated urban warfare," these bombs contain  26,000 controlled fragments, achieving a "high probability of killing."  Elbit  says the 500-pound bombs are as powerful as the 2,000-pound US-made MK-84 bombs. They can be converted into guided bombs using combinations such as Boeing's Joint Direct Attack  (JDAM)  ammunition (see above).

Israel  used the MPR 500 bomb in its airstrike on an emergency and relief center in Habariyeh, Lebanon, on March 27, 2024.

The attack, which killed seven civilian aid volunteers, "did not take all necessary precautions" to avoid harming civilians and "should be investigated as a clear war crime," according to Human Rights Watch.

Elbit Systems' deadly Hermes 450 and 900 aircraft have been widely used in attacks and surveillance missions in Gaza, the occupied West  Bank  and Lebanon.

A Hermes 450 drone attacked three vehicles belonging to the humanitarian organization Central World Kitchen near Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

The attack killed seven aid workers who were running food shipments. They were from Palestine, Australia, Poland and the United Kingdom, as well as a dual U.S. and Canadian citizen. The Hermes 450 can carry four Spike air-to-ground missiles made by Israel's Rafael Company, although some sources claim that it is also capable of carrying Lockheed Martin Hellfire missiles. The damage caused by this attack corresponds to  that of the Spike missiles.

Elbit's head-mounted display helmet technology is integrated into Israeli Air Force fighter jets and helicopters, as well as  the Merkava 5  (Barak) battle tank.

The company is also a subcontractor with Lockheed Martin, integrating its helmet technology into F-35 fighter jets around the world.

It also supplies the IDF with 155mm artillery shells and various other weapons systems and technologies.

Elbit Systems pioneered the technological aspects of the "smart" border wall surrounding the Gaza Strip, which failed on October 7. It is also a major contractor for the militarization of the U.S.-Mexico border.

The  Israeli military fired 120mm tank shells at journalists in southern Lebanon, killing Reuters journalist Issam Abdallah and wounding six others, in what may amount to a war crime. According to Amnesty International , the munitions used were most likely M339 shells produced by Elbit Systems.

The company, headquartered in Israel, has a significant presence in the United States, with facilities in Alabama (Talladega), Florida (Boca Raton and de Leon Springs), Massachusetts (Cambridge), New Hampshire (Merrimack), Pennsylvania (Birdsboro), South Carolina (Ladson), Virginia (Reston and Roanock), Texas (Fort Worth and San Antonio).

For more information about this company (except for these recent developments), see  the company profile on the Investigate database.

Emtan Karmiel

A private Israeli firearms manufacturer delivered  about 12,000 rifles to the Israeli army and other security forces a week from October 7.

Many, if not all, of these rifles are MZ4P assault rifles, acquired by  Israel's Ministry of National Security to arm new civilian "security teams" in dozens of cities and towns, including illegal settlements in the occupied West Bank.

Aviation Defense

The company supplied Israel with units of the Fleer 72 patrol vehicle, which it developed  in partnership with General Dynamics .

The vehicle uses a GM engine .

Israel is reportedly testing these vehicles because it wants to buy SUVs with U.S. taxpayers' money, rather than relying entirely on its other supplier of similar vehicles, Israel's  IAI.

Israel  reportedly   ordered an additional 60 Flyer 72 tactical vehicles, funded by US taxpayer funds.

Ford Motor Company

An American automaker produces commercial armored pickup trucks equipped for the IDF by AM General ,  Oshkosh , and Plasan.

For example, the Ford Super Duty F-350 XL Pickup forms the basis of Plasan's Sand Cat light armored vehicle.

A U.S. cargo plane delivered Sand Cat vehicles to Israel.

For more information about this company (except for these recent developments), see  the company profile  on the Investigate database.

*General Dynamics

General Dynamics , the world's sixth-largest arms manufacturer, supplies Israel with artillery munitions and bombs for attack aircraft used in the Israeli offensive on Gaza.

The company has developed the F-16 fighter jet, although Lockheed Martin has been building it since 1993.

General Dynamics is  the only company in the United States that manufactures metal structures for the MK-80 series bomb, one of the main aerial munitions used by Israel to bomb Gaza. The Israeli Air Force makes extensive use of 500-pound MK-82/BLU-111, 1,000-pound MK-83/BLU-110, and 2,000-pound MK-84/BLU-109. Different designations (MK vs. BLU)  refer to a different explosive charge. When converted to guided munitions using Boeing's  JDAM  kits  (see above), the classification of these bombs changes to GBU-38 (500 lb),  GBU-32 (1,000 lb), or GBU-31 (2,000 lb).

The largest of these, the 2,000-pound  MK-84/BLU-109/GBU-31, is notorious for the damage it does and cannot be used in densely populated urban areas without causing heavy civilian casualties. A 2,000-pound bomb blast meant "instant death" of people within 100 feet, with deadly shrapnel extending up to 1,200 feet.

According to an analysis by CNN,  Israel dropped more than 500 such bombs in the northern Gaza Strip. This includes, for example,  the bombing of the Jabalia refugee camp, which has killed hundreds of Palestinian civilians and may amount to a war crime , according to the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.

According to an analysis by the New York Times , Israel dropped more than 208 bombs, each weighing 2,000 pounds, into the southern Gaza Strip, in areas where "Israel has ordered civilians to flee for their safety." This includes, for example, one shelling that killed 24 members of the al-Najjar family and another shelling that killed 19 members of the Abu Mu'aileek family, both in Deir al-Balah.

Amnesty International described  both attacks as unlawful airstrikes on homes full of civilians "that may amount to a war crime".

The United States reportedly sent Israel more than 5,000 MK-84  bombs. The  United States reportedly "secretly authorized" the implementation of a number of old Israeli munitions requests, including more than 1,800 2,000-pound  MK84  bombs and 500 500-pound MK82  bombs.

General Dynamics is  the only company in the United States that manufactures 155mm artillery shells, which were widely used in the offensive on Gaza.

One source reported that by November 25,  2023, an Israeli brigade had fired about 10,000 artillery shells of this type using a BAE M109 howitzer.

The 155mm shells have been part of recent U.S. arms shipments to Israel. The United States plans  to send "tens of thousands of 155mm artillery shells, which were destined for Ukraine" to Israel.  According to Oxfam , Israel's use of these missiles is "almost indiscriminate, unlawful and destructive to civilians in Gaza." On November 13,  2023, more than 30 organizations issued a letter opposing the transfer of weapons .

General Dynamics has also partnered  with Flyer Defense to develop an armored patrol vehicle that Israel is testing.

In a phone call with investors on October 25,  2023, Jason Eikin, chief financial officer of General Dynamics, said, "I think if you look at the increased demand potential generated by [the attacks on Gaza], the biggest highlight that really stands out is probably on the artillery side ."

General Dynamics is headquartered outside Washington, D.C., in Fairfax, Virginia.

For more information about this company (except for these recent developments), see  the company profile on the Investigate database.

*General Electric

General Electric , which ranks 31st in terms of the world's largest arms manufacturer, manufactures  T700 Turboshaft engines for Boeing Apache helicopters  .

GE is headquartered in Fairfield, Connecticut.

For more information about this company (except for these recent developments), see  the company profile on the Investigate database.

Gm

Provides engines and powertrains for many vehicles used by the IDF, including the Flyer 72 and Z-Series SUVs, manufactured by Israel Aerospace Industries

Israel buys GM parts with American taxpayer money, even for vehicles made in Israel .

For more information about this company (except for these recent developments), see  the company profile on the Investigate database.

Stealth robots

A Philadelphia-based robotics company has supplied the IDF with its Vision 60  robotic dogs for use in Gaza.

The first three units were donated  to the army by the Israeli organization Brotherhood of Arms.

Later, the  IDF acquired more of these robots, adding a drone called Roster, which was manufactured by the Israeli company Robotech in cooperation with the Israeli Ministry of Defense.

Google/Alphabet

The Israeli military has publicly admitted to using Google's cloud services to enhance its capabilities during its war on Gaza, along with Amazon and Microsoft cloud services.

In October and November 2023, Google received an urgent request from Israel's Ministry of Defense to expand its use of Vertex, a service provided by Google that allows users to apply AI algorithms to their own data, and accelerated and approved the request.

In March 2024, the IDF signed a direct consulting contract with Google to expand its reach to Google Cloud.

Over the course of 2024, Google processed several additional requests made by the IDF to increase access to its AI technologies, including the Gemini AI language model.

The Israeli military has also used Google Photos' facial recognition features as part of its mass surveillance of Palestinians in Gaza during the war.

Since 2021, Google has been providing cloud services to the Israeli government under Project Nimbus, a  $1.2 billion contract it shares with Amazon.

The company provides cloud services to all branches of the Israeli government, including the military, the Shin Bet security service, the police, the prison service, the arms manufacturers Israel Aerospace Industries and Rafael , and government agencies related to Israel's illegal settlement project in the occupied West Bank.

Google's contracts with Israel do not include the company's standard terms of use; instead, they give the Israeli government full discretion as to which Google products it can use and how to use them.

In April 2024, Google fired more than 50 employees who protested the company's activities in Palestine/Israel.

In February 2025, Alphabet, Google's parent company, lifted a ban on the use of its AI tools for military purposes, such as weapons development and surveillance tools.

For resources and more information, see this company's profile on the Investigate database.

*Honeywell International Company

Honeywell, one of the world's top 100 arms producers, generated about 13 percent of its revenue from military applications as of 2022. One of its products, a set of sensors called inertial measurement units (IMU), is an essential component in many guided bombs, missiles and drones.

Honeywell's  HG1700 IMU  is part  of Boeing's Joint Direct Attack  (JDAM) munitions groups, which convert unguided bombs into precision munitions, and has been one of the most important weapons systems used by Israel in Gaza. Similarly, Honeywell's  HG1930 IMU  is part  of Boeing'  s GBU-39  small-diameter bombs, which have become Israel's  "weapon of choice" in Gaza.

See recent transfers and airstrikes involving JDAM and GBU-39 bombs, under the Boeing section.

While Honeywell's components usually leave no trace at the site of the bombing,  one of Honeywell's components was found intact following an Israeli airstrike on June 6, 2024, on the UN al-Sardi school in Gaza. The attack killed 40 Palestinians, including 14 children, and injured at least 74 others. He identified the component as Honeywell's  HG1930 IMU, and its markings indicate that it was made in 2022. While this component is part of Boeing's  small-diameter GBU-39  bomb, it may be part of other weapons systems, and we cannot say for sure what kind of bomb was used in that attack.

Hyundai Heavy Industries (Hyundai)

Hyundai, the world's largest shipbuilder and a major manufacturer of heavy equipment, manufactures tracked excavators and other machinery that have been used to demolish Palestinian homes in the occupied West Bank.

For example, a Hyundai excavator was used to demolish the home of a Palestinian family in Jabal Mukaber, a predominantly Palestinian neighborhood in occupied East Jerusalem.

For more information about this company (except for these recent developments), see  the company profile  on the Investigate database.

Infini Dome

A private Israeli company manufactures GPS  protection and navigation systems for drones. According to the company , it "has been working day and night, especially since October 7," to provide the IDF with its technology for use in Gaza. The  company has presented its technology to the U.S. Department of Transportation, boasting that it has been used since 2018 "to protect the navigation systems of IDF drones patrolling the Gaza border."
