Afrasianet - Maher Abu Tair - We are all concerned about what is happening in the Gaza Strip, while the catastrophe has been going on for a month in the West Bank, and then we will go to Jerusalem, where Al-Aqsa Mosque is located and the dangers that it may be exposed to before.

During the last 4 weeks, the occupation swept Palestinian camps in the West Bank, namely the camps of Tulkarm and Nour Shams in Tulkarm, and Fara'a, south of the city of Tubas, and more broadly the Jenin camp, in which the occupation destroyed entire neighborhoods and built roads on the ruins of Palestinian homes, and caused the displacement of more than fifty thousand Palestinians so far from 4 refugee camps and surrounding areas in Jenin, Tulkarm and Tubas, which total more than 76 Palestinian refugees, as Jenin camp became empty of its inhabitants.

Israel wants to achieve several goals from the attack on the camps, first, to delete the hotbeds of resistance in them because they are concentrated in these camps, second, to delete the existence of the camps themselves and turn them into residential neighborhoods, to delete the address of asylum, and third, to implement rehearsals for population displacement in preparation for a later stage, related to the plan to transfer Palestinians and integrate them into limited communities, and to evacuate some cities from them completely, and fourth, to arrest large numbers of resistance fighters to compensate for the handovers of Palestinian prisoners from Gaza and the West Bank, which are now underway, and fifth, to prepare for the scenario of annexing the West Bank in a way complete, or formally annexed large parts, and crammed Palestinians into gatherings.

All this is happening paradoxically and the Oslo authority, unable to watch, and even helped Israel before storming the Jenin camp, by preluding to the attack, and paradoxically the authority today seems to be just a political illusion, it is not able to return to the Gaza Strip, nor is it able to prevent Israel from attacking the West Bank, and invading the camps, leaving the West Bank to its fate, under the pretext that it does not want to give Israel an excuse to attack the West Bank, which Israel is currently doing, while 70,000 Palestinian security men are watching. In the West Bank, the PA itself is absent from all files, especially the Gaza Strip, where the PA is excluded from Arab, regional and international meetings, as if it is not a political party in all the scene.

All this comes in the context of an imminent economic collapse inside the West Bank, with indications of a complete political collapse as well, and Israel's isolation of the West Bank militarily for the first time in twenty years in this way, while Tel Aviv is appeased by all means, from cutting the salaries of the families of martyrs and prisoners, to the continuation of security coordination, and so on, amid an open military security mission carried out by Israel inside the West Bank as an investment in its current full-time capacity to the West Bank, after the temporary cessation of the Gaza Strip war.

All eyes are focused on the Gaza Strip and what is happening in it, while the assessments about the situation in the West Bank are very dangerous, especially with the bus bombings, which Israel will employ in all cases, whatever their source, cause, or main engine, and will use them in front of Washington to justify the continuation of crimes against the Palestinian people, and their resistance, which is intended to end its existence within the series of Israeli illusions, and the inability to recognize that the occupation is the root of the crisis, in the first place, since 1948 and before.

The current situation will necessarily lead to the issue of the city of Jerusalem, its social composition, and the file of Al-Aqsa Mosque at some time, including its religious and political meaning, and its relationship to its popular protection fence in the city.

This war is not over and the days will prove it.
