The policy of destruction in the Israeli mentality.. is it a goal or a tool!

Afrasianet - Ahmed Abd El , Rahman - Is destruction an end in itself? Or is it a means and a tool to achieve deterrence? It should be noted here that all the destruction and sabotage operations were not mostly of an operational nature and did not seek to achieve concrete military objectives.

Since the early years of the establishment of the Hebrew "state" on the land of historic Palestine, successive Israeli governments, most of whose presidents and members, as is the case with the various "army" divisions of the gangs of Argon, Haganah, Etzel, Palmach and others, have pursued a policy of destruction and destruction as one of the most important tools used against their Arab and Palestinian enemies, and recent history has recorded dozens or even hundreds of criminal operations in which the occupation "state" resorted to a policy of systematic destruction against the cities, cities, facilities and institutions of the party. The other, regardless of his ideological background, sect, race and color.

However, these barbaric and barbaric operations took on another dimension, especially during the July 2006 aggression on Lebanon, where  the enemy's "army" relied on what was then called the Dahiya doctrine, whose  basic principles were laid down by the former Chief of Staff of the occupation army, Gabi Eisenkot, as it relied on two basic principles, namely the activation of Israeli firepower disproportionately with the firepower of the other side, and the complete and total destruction of infrastructure, cities and villages where the resistance forces are located.

Two years after that war, Eisenkot, who was then in charge of the Northern Command in the occupation army, confirmed that Israel will continue to use this strategy in future conflicts, and that what happened in the southern suburb of Beirut will happen in every village from which Israel is shot, adding that we will use disproportionate force and cause very great damage and destruction, because from our point of view these are not civilian villages, but military bases.

In the multiple confrontations that took place after that, most of which were concentrated in the small and besieged Gaza Strip since 2007, and which took different forms, titles and objectives, fundamental changes appeared beyond any doubt in the size of the Israeli military operations, and these changes were related in particular to the extent of the damage caused by these operations and attacks at the level of infrastructure in the Gaza Strip, where they reached in the late days of the 2012 aggression to a degree that was not usual for the people of the Gaza Strip and the resistance as well. The enemy then resorted to targeting residential towers with high and multiple floors, some of which housed about three hundred people and sometimes more.

In the 2014 aggression, the frequency of these attacks against residential buildings and towers increased significantly, in addition to some schools, universities and institutions, which the occupation claimed, as is its custom, that they harbor "terrorist" elements, and that they are used by the resistance for military purposes, and in this it justifies the use of all the means in its hands, and all the tools in its possession in order to restrict the lives of civilians, and turn their lives into hell.

This situation was repeated in the battles that followed the 51-day aggression, the most prominent of which was the battle of the "Sword of Jerusalem" in May 2021, when the occupation army increased the pace of destruction operations against homes and residential buildings, and the scene of high towers collapsing due to the occupation's heavyweight rockets became a common sight for Gazans, and for all those who were following the war diaries on various television screens.

However, everything that happened during the previous wars, small and large, and what has happened and is taking place for more than thirteen months of the barbaric aggression on the Gaza Strip is another matter, which applies similarly to what has been happening in Lebanon for about two months, as the scale of destruction and devastation that primarily targets the homes of safe citizens, in addition to infrastructure of various names, institutions, hospitals, ministries, schools and universities is unprecedented. International institutions and the United Nations have exceeded all norms and laws, and have bypassed by stages what happened in major wars that the world has witnessed over the past years, and the magnitude of destruction and devastation in the Gaza Strip in particular has turned this small and poor strip, which does not exceed an area of 365 km, into an uninhabitable area in every sense of the word.

According to the estimates of the United Nations Development Program, the cost of rebuilding what was destroyed by the occupation in the Gaza Strip exceeds $ 30 billion, and may reach 40 billion if the war continues for several months to come, and according to the program, this task has never been dealt with by the international community since World War II, and that construction operations will need about eighty years if the pace of reconstruction is similar to that that that took place during previous wars, especially after the aggression in 2014.

In the large-scale destruction operations taking place in the Gaza Strip, as is the case in Lebanon, the occupation army uses a wide range of tools, foremost of which are bombs and missiles dropped from the air, some of which weigh two thousand pounds, and each of them can destroy an entire residential block and not just one house, and then began about three months ago as a result of suffering apparently from a shortage of these bombs using barrel bombs, which lack accuracy in hitting targets, but they are the same Greater and wider destructive effectiveness, in addition to that, the occupation army uses booby-trapped robots that contain a large amount of explosive materials, in addition to mining some old armored vehicles such as Puma and M113  tankers and detonating them in some areas, in addition to all of the above, using its huge "D9"  bulldozers to demolish homes and various facilities, and these bulldozers can demolish a high building in several strikes because of their tremendous power, while also recalling its resort to house burning, which is considered For many citizens, it is far worse than demolitions and demolitions.

All of the above prompts us to ask the following question: Is destruction an end in itself? Or is it a means and a tool to achieve deterrence? It should be noted here that all the destruction and sabotage operations were not mostly of an operational nature and did not seek to achieve tangible military objectives, i.e. these operations continue and take an escalating trend despite the calm of many axes of fighting in the Gaza Strip.

In fact, it can be believed that what is happening serves the two previous hypotheses, as on the one hand, the doctrine of destruction and devastation that settles in the minds of the "Jews" has existed for a long time, and it is stipulated in their distorted and false books, where we can find clear and explicit texts that call for destruction and destruction, including, but not limited to, what is mentioned in the book of "Deuteronomy", which says:  "Strike the inhabitants of that city with the sword, and deprive it of all its beasts by the sword, and gather all its belongings to the middle of its square, and burn with fire the city and all its possessions in full to the Lord your God."

This incitement to killing, destruction and destruction was also expressed by Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, who at the beginning of the aggression called for the complete destruction of the Gaza Strip, considering it necessary for Israel's security. For his part, former MK Moshe Feiglin called for the use of nuclear weapons against the Gaza Strip, which was reiterated by another Likud MK Tali Gotliff, who called for hitting Gaza with Jericho 2 rockets capable of carrying warheads. Nuclear.

As for the second aspect, which is the quest to restore the lost deterrence capability, which was fatally hit on the morning of October 7 last year, it has become clear that working towards this goal has become one of the priorities of successive Israeli governments, which have been trying since their failure to confront the successive Palestinian intifadas, and the wars that began in July 2006 with Lebanon, passing through the years 2008-2012-2014-2021 .This has led to the battle of the Al-Aqsa flood with the Gaza Strip to save what can be saved in terms of the deterrence capability that it has always boasted of, and which has placed it in the ranks of the major military powers in the region and the world.

In 1923 of the last century, Ze'ev Jabotinsky, the leader of the Etzel gangs, and the leader of what is known as the "corrective current" in the Zionist movement, published his famous theory of the "iron wall", which relied on three basic concepts, foremost of which was the concept of deterrence, in addition to warning and decisiveness, as this theory was translated practically and effectively on the ground after the establishment of the Zionist entity in 1948, as the concept of "deterrence" was divided into two parts, the first is related to deterring Arab and Islamic countries, and preventing them from launching A war on the Zionist entity, by maintaining a clear and qualitative military superiority in favor of the enemy, and the second part is related to deterring resistance groups and organizations in Palestine and the region, which operate in patterns and ways that differ in form and subject from the work of states, and these are dealt with according to an offensive theory that depends mainly on inflicting large material and human losses in their ranks, with the aim of breaking their morale, reducing as much as possible their weapons capabilities, putting pressure on their popular incubator, and then obtaining a relatively long period of calm with them. On the base of "long combat and appeasement operations".

Thus, when the Hebrew "state" found itself facing an "existential crisis", as the enemy prime minister called it as a result of the fall or erosion of its deterrence capacity, it chose to activate all the tools of destruction, destruction and killing at its disposal in the hope of restoring even part of that capability, or at least preserving what was left of it so that the "state" would not become vulnerable to deadly and successive attacks, as happened on the morning of the glorious seventh of October.

In any case, as of writing the lines of this article, Israel has not succeeded, despite all its military power, and despite all the support and supplies it obtains that obscure the eye of the sun, and despite the support of all evil forces in the world, in achieving what it seeks to restore the lost deterrence capability, and that the bloody cycle of madness, murder and criminality that has been circulating inside it for more than thirteen months has not yet led to It has lost more deterrence in the face of the blows of the resistance that have inflicted woes on all axes of the fighting, and revealed beyond any doubt the fragility of its military divisions, combat brigades, and elite battalions, which were threatening the entire region.

It is true that the price paid by the resistance in Gaza and Lebanon was high, and it is true that the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples have suffered and continue to suffer from harsh living conditions, and it is true that the majority of Arab and Islamic regimes and their peoples have turned their backs on them, but they still believe in the justice of the cause for which they are fighting, and they have full confidence in the inevitability of victory and empowerment, which without any doubt will be achieved with great glory or humiliation, and victory is only from God.
