Afrasianet - The  mask has completely fallen off the West, this is what they have been paying lip service to for a long time, the police batons and police repression have dropped the statements of freedom, human rights, freedom of expression and all the like of Western falsehood, more than that, the West is left with nothing but to reveal its degenerate and false morals, there is no legitimacy for all that has passed and no legitimacy for what is to come, it is only the beginning, and the next heralds a new world that wakes up amid the horror and astonishment of Western regimes and their fall towards the abyss that they accused others of falling.

What was reported by the media and what was broadcast on television screens was enough to clarify the reality of the brutal and inhuman West from within the most influential segment of society: the universities and their students who will mark the beginning of the rebellious awakening against the laws of hypocritical and aggressive regimes.

The Western regimes did not succeed in saying that what is happening is anti-Semitic, so this characterization fell and they moved to introduce the gangs identified with them and with the Zionist entity who provoked strife and violence so that regime officials can say that these demonstrations use violence.

In the United States, the two parties, Republican and Democratic, are united on the need to suppress students at all costs.

From the top of the pyramid to the affiliated institutions, everyone agrees that what is happening is a threat to the existence of such policies, and when the demonstrations moved to Europe, the same repressive practices moved with them, especially within countries that were once colonial countries, and became colonies belonging to America.

The American university uprising is described as the  second biggest test of the value and moral system of the leader of the "civilized West" and its "free world," and the Biden administration will fall miserably in these two tests together. It fell to the test of the Israeli war on Gaza, when it moved from "blind bias" to field and political partnership in Israeli war crimes, genocide and ethnic cleansing.

It fell when it launched its repressive machine against its finest students at its finest universities, so the images of the assault on students and university professors were similar to the image of Floyd breathing his last, under the feet of a security man armed with arrogance and racism.. until the Washington Post report revealed 2,000 students detained within the last ten days, a record number even by our standards, the sons of the "arid desert of democracy" in the south and east of the Mediterranean.

In any case, what is happening today in the universities of the United States and the West in general brings us back to what we went to several years ago, when we pointed out that the revival of the spirit of protest movements in the West, against the background of anti-racism, xenophobia, immigrants and the populist right, provides an opportunity for Palestinians to take their struggle against occupation and "apartheid" to the international arena again, but this time through the gate of peoples, societies and progressive movements.

Today, this link came at the initiative of American university students, whose solidarity movement with the people of Palestine integrates into a broader and more comprehensive struggle to restore the values of freedom, justice and human rights in their countries, in the face of dark currents that hide behind chauvinist tendencies and glorify the racial superiority of the white man.

In this conflict, Palestine is positioned on the right side of history, and Israel is in the wrong corner of it, isolated and criminalized by ethnic cleansing and genocide, and even its role as a brake on freedoms in the West, stands out today more than ever, as "McCarthyism" has reared its ugly face in a number of Western capitals, not in Washington alone, and freedom of expression stands tied at red lines imposed by the ruling elites, decision-making institutions, pressure groups and blackmail, all of which are designed to fence off the occupation and racism entity and protect it from the shares of Criticism, condemnation and protest. Israel's role in the West, as well as its role in the East, is emerging as a major obstacle to freedom and democracy.

Westerners have long argued, especially since the start of the Barcelona Process and in particular in the aftermath of September 11, 2001, that you, Arab reformers,   have made Israel a "hanger" on which to hang the reasons for your successive failures to catch up with the successive waves of democracy that hit the world in stages.

Today, without dropping the internal causes and contexts of the democratic intractability in the Arab world, we have enough experience and evidence to say that you made a mistake and we were right, as we saw yesterday how the world "mobilized" against the results of free and fair elections in Palestine in 2006, because they were not in harmony with the architecture of Oslo and the paths of Israel's integration into the region. Because you sensed your colonial instincts that democracy in the Arab world is the opposite of the paths of normalization and colonial domination, and today we see in the eyes how you stand ready and ready to give up your silk gloves when it comes to defending your "advanced base", even if it means using an iron fist against your students, universities and angry streets.

Racism, by its very nature, crosses the lines and maps of religions, nationalities and ethnicities. The struggle of the Palestinians against racism, in its most heinous and degraded Zionist version, has become today an organic part of a global struggle against all manifestations, currents, policies and practices that lead to discrimination, superiority and false superiority, and right-wing extremism in its most crude forms of hostility to the other, foreigners and helpless peoples.

US President Joe Biden criticizes  college student protests against Israeli war on Gaza, noting that they involve "creating chaos,"  Biden says, in a televised address, that college student protests "put the right to expression and the rule of law at stake, and both must be upheld."

He stressed that these protests did not push him to reconsider his policies.

American universities, which constitute the bastions of science and knowledge, rose up in protest against the scenes of Israeli blood, destruction and brutality in Gaza, and against the continued unlimited support provided by the US administration to the Israeli aggression.

It is noteworthy that the movements and protests were led by students of elite American universities such as Columbia, Yale, New York and Harvard, all of which belong to the  Ivy League, which includes the most famous, oldest and most prestigious universities in the United States of America and in the world.

The protests and tent erections have spread to more than 75 American universities so far, as well as spread to universities in countries of aggression such as France, Australia and Britain.

This explains why the US authorities have resorted to suppressing these protests and responding to the demands of the Israeli government led by Benjamin Netanyahu to address them.

The Israeli narrative about the events of October 7 and attempts to demonize the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas)  by accusing it of beheading children, raping women and violating the rights of civilians did not succeed, as the space saturated with social media enabled fair-minded people to confront these fabricated narratives and refute them with evidence.

This was the first blow to the Israeli narrative, followed by the barbaric practices of the occupation by bombing and storming hospitals and destroying schools, mosques and institutions, to turn public opinion against the occupation after social media was full of pictures of massacres targeting children and women.

Therefore, the streets and squares of the United States, and Western countries, were filled with demonstrators condemning Israel and demanding that it stop the war.

American universities were not absent from these events, which escalated with the continuation of massacres, and the continued disregard of the occupation leaders calls for a ceasefire.

In this context, the elite of American universities took the lead in the protests before the rest of the country's universities, as well as European ones, followed suit, as these protests persist despite the violence used against them.

The overly violent handling of these actors has shown the United States as a dictatorship that suppresses freedom of opinion and demonstration, under the pretext of confronting anti-Semitism that is criminalized by law, which is divisive in a society that cherishes its democracy and freedom of expression enshrined in the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

This indicates the abject failure of Zionist propaganda, on which the Jewish lobby has spent billions of dollars since the establishment of the Israeli entity in 1948 until now in America and Western countries, and this lobby even spent billions on Columbia University, from which members of Congress and American leaders such as former President Barack Obama graduate, in order to influence university students through leadership preparation programs, so those who spend on them lead the protests, denounce the Israeli entity and support the Palestinian struggle.

The Zionist claims that the US authorities relied on to suppress the demonstrators were also exposed when a number of Jewish demonstrators came out to declare themselves and confirm that they were participating in the protests because they rejected what the occupation is doing against the Palestinians.

This movement has revealed the true face of democracy that America is talking about, about freedom of expression without repression, all of this has faded when it comes to the issue of Muslims, democracy and its laws have been lost and the American authority remains with how to silence them and how to control the situation; their fear for the student uprising is no longer only with the Palestinian cause; but their fear today has become greater than that, they are very afraid that this uprising will turn into an uprising against the government and try to overthrow it.

Could it be the awakening of the new world?
