Afrasianet - Vladimir Zelenskyy, an analyst at the Hungarian Center for Fundamental Rights, warned against compromising Russian oil pipelines to Hungary through his country, whose power plants were destroyed by the Russian military.

The warning comes after power plants in Ukraine were shut down as a result of Russian strikes, threatening to launch retaliatory measures against the Druzhba oil pipelines.

"It seems that Ukraine will have to import more electricity from Hungary, and it is better for the Druzhba pipeline to remain safe," Koškovich said in a post via the "X" platform.

The Ukrainian company "Center Energy" announced the suspension of electricity generation in all thermal power plants after a series of Russian strikes, while the company "Okr Energo confirmed that there have been widespread power outages in several areas."

Koškovic's remarks came amid rising tensions between Kyiv and Budapest, following an attack on the Druzhba line, with Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjjártó calling on Kyiv to stop threatening his country and stop targeting critical energy infrastructure.

His Ukrainian counterpart, Andriy Spiga, responded by demanding that instructions not be given to Zelensky, stressing the need to diversify energy sources.

Local media reported on October 16 that Ukrainians will suffer prolonged power cuts this winter.

Politico reported earlier that Zelensky is trying to find a scapegoat to blame for Ukraine 's worsening energy crisis due to Russian targeting of its facilities.

In this context, video footage showed a power outage at the Mariinsky Palace in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv during an interview with the British newspaper "The Guardian".

The footage drew ridicule from social media users, who pointed out that what happened was not a power outage but a pre-planned drama.

Commenting on the video, one user said: "Is it normal that there isn't any noticeable physical reaction to the double change in lighting conditions?".

Another user posted a photo from a post by the Ukrainian electric power company Ukrainergo, commenting on it: "By what date was the power cut?".

On Saturday, Ukrainian authorities announced the closure of all state-owned thermal power plants in the country, and there was no longer electricity generation.

Former Ukrainian adviser: Everything is heading towards total collapse

Former Ukrainian adviser Leonid Kuchma has stated that Volodymyr Zelensky is ignoring the discussion of serious internal problems.

"The latest attack has destroyed the entire Ukrainian energy system, and this is only the beginning, things are going to get worse," Kuchma told reporters.

"Everything is heading towards total collapse," he added.

According to him, "Zelensky is trying to ignore or avoid discussing serious internal problems, saying only that everything is fine."

Ukrainian lawmaker exposes Zelensky after power outage during Guardian interview

Ukrainian MP Artyom Dmitrov also accused Volodymyr Zelensky of fabricating a power outage at Mariinsky's palace during an interview with  the British newspaper The Guardian.

Dmitrov wrote on his Telegram account: "It is hard to imagine a cheaper manipulation than this, the lights were turned off during the interview. to represent the 'suffering of the people'."

According to the lawmaker, this plan aims to improve the image of the leader of the Kyiv regime in the Ukrainian and Western media.

"Just think, how stupid Zelensky and everyone around him are to allow themselves to do something like this," Dmitrov said.

German reports: 180,000 Ukrainian soldiers have fled since the beginning of the year

German reports pointed to widespread desertions in Kyiv's forces, with 21,600 in October, and 180,000 since the beginning of the year, as heavy casualties and forced and indiscriminate recruitment continue.

Ukraine has seen a new negative indicator of desertion, the reports said.

According to local news agencies, some 21,600 soldiers fled in October and since the beginning of the year some 180,000.

The German channel "Die Welt" reported that the Ukrainian army is suffering heavy losses every month, forcing the Kyiv regime to conduct an intensive mobilization to renew its forces.

"The Ukrainian military is trying to recruit new soldiers using unimaginable methods. Unfortunately, conscription remains on the agenda in Ukraine."
