Afrasianet - Dr. Hani Al-Aqqad - America may one day witness a dramatic shift towards Israel if Israel remains as it is, making wars, killing and destroying, taking international law into its own hands and wanting the American administration to protect it in the face of changing international public opinion, I think this will take some time, but we can say that the features of this transformation have begun in many parts of the world and inside America as well.

The American people are tired of Israel's lies and at the same time they are beginning to think about the usefulness of the unlimited official American support for it, which is still committing war crimes in the name of the Jews against the Palestinians, and the American people and American Jews have begun to realize that these crimes committed in their name are crimes against them as well, because the Jews in the world know that Zionism in Israel and the world is the one that allows the killing of human beings and the commission of crimes that distort the Jewish religion.

In the United States, after the election of Zahran Mamdani as governor of New York and after he was hosted by the Jewish community in New York, there were Israeli calculations that feared that the change in the American popular mood would affect the American policymaker one day towards Israel, and there is a fear that the official American view of the occupying state will change if this country continues to lie and deny human rights, and if it continues to incite, hate, and wage wars under racist and revenge motives from the Palestinians, whether they are Muslims or Christians, and this is what happened. President Trump, Israel's great ally, has warned against it more than once, considering that Israel may enter into real isolation and may become a pariah and unrespected state, not by many people of the world, but by America itself, and promised to restore Israel's place in the world if it accepts to make peace according to his plan.

In a lengthy reading of a lengthy report issued by the Israeli National Security Council and published by Haaretz, it showed that Israel began to feel that its image had become distorted in the world and began to feel that it was in isolation, so it began to prepare special programs to improve its image and invest millions of dollars in this, especially in America, because it realized that the American conservative right began to change its support for Israel, and it contacted many media companies to plan campaigns targeting millions of Christians who attend churches, and to allocate programs to send millions of messages through Social media and hired the head of President Trump's election campaign to carry out media missions to influence the pioneers of these platforms as they search for the truth or deal with news that distorts Israel.

The implications of this report indicate that there is great Israeli concern about the impact of social media on the status and reputation of Israel among the peoples, especially the American people, who have become critical of President Trump's policy of supporting the occupying state, which practices genocide, starvation and racial discrimination, and Israel's realization that these uncontrolled platforms have become an indirect media force in feeding the people with ideas that confirm Israel's violation of human rights, especially the Palestinian human right to justice, equality, and a life with dignity and the right to self-determination.

The report's call to invest President Trump's term as the most pro-Israel governor and his policy in the region, and considering that his foreign policy is reshaping the Middle East and the international arena in favor of Israel, and the report states that Israel fears that one day Israel will not achieve what it has achieved today with the presence of President Trump, who is currently seeking to consolidate post-war understandings on Gaza and crystallize broader understandings with Washington and the region, which can improve Israel's image.

The report's warning of a possible shift in American policy in the future, i.e., after the era of President Trump, is a well-placed warning, because if there are some internal changes, there will be negative repercussions on the relationship between Israel and Washington, but I believe that this will not affect the strategic alliances between the two countries.

The report is an Israeli position paper on President Trump's plan to end the war on Gaza, as he considered it highly compatible with Israel's broader interest towards the issue of recovering the abductees, ending the war, removing Hamas from power in the Gaza Strip and disarming it, in addition to opening good channels of communication with the countries of the region to curb efforts to isolate Israel internationally. In light of the continuation of the war on the Palestinians, there is an official Israeli conviction that it is necessary to end the war on Gaza in order to achieve the goals of this war through a Trump plan, so the authors of the paper say that Israel's adoption of a Trump plan is necessary in order to push Trump with additional initiatives to fortify Israel's national security.

What is new in the report is that it describes Israel as a dependent state of the United States of America and focuses on the need to confront a problematic reality that has begun to develop in recent months, and this development is the result of deep demographic, social and political transformations in the United States of America, and the report warns that the progressive current within the American left has become more present and reads the conflict in a completely different way from the previous stage, and on the other hand, the report also records some transformations that occurred within the conservative right, the MAGA movement, which was a major supporter of Trump.

It was credited with winning a woman who became reticent to engage in foreign conflicts with the emergence of radical currents that see Israel as a country that drags the United States into wars that do not serve its interests. The report is based on several opinion polls, the most important of which is the Pew poll last March, which showed a rise in negative opinions towards Israel to 53% and a low in support for Israel to a level not reached in 25 years, and there is also a Globe poll that recorded a drop in public support for Israel by 46%, which is the lowest in a quarter of a century as well, and a poll (for the University of Maryland) reported that 41% of Americans believe that Israel is committing genocide and similar crimes in Gaza, based on a total These data, which confirmed that there is a shift in American policy that may occur in the future towards Israel, the report recommended taking advantage of the opportunities granted now under the administration of President Trump in order to achieve the delineation of broad political lines for Israel's separation from an independent Palestinian entity demilitarized and with limited sovereignty on the basis of the Abraham Accords reached by the Trump administration in 2020.

Perhaps the issuance of such a report conclusively proves that Israel takes into account the changes in America with some suspicion, and perhaps the increase in criticism of the endless support for Israel even under the right-wing government headed by Trump, at a time when Israel's behavior proves on more than one level that Israel does not respect the official American directions in the Middle East recently and because of the war on Gaza and the commission of many crimes that would affect the American voter in the future. On the continuous strategic support for Israel, this means that there may be a real transformation coming in the United States of America, so Israel insists on not retreating from its current expansionist policy and does not want to stop wars before there is a change in the Arab region neighboring it and enables it to change the geopolitical map in Gaza, Lebanon and Syria using infinite force without compensation, i.e., it denies the rights of these peoples, especially their right to self-determination, and does not agree so far to give up about the idea of occupation, settlement, starvation and siege to achieve its goals.

On the other hand, the Tel Aviv government believes that accepting Trump's peace plan, which starts with ending the war in Gaza and rebuilding it, with a strange American plan that can improve its reputation and thus restore its standing with the American public. The strange thing is that it trusts that Trump personally will work to return Israel to the international bosom to become a country that has its respect and thus restore its relations with most of the countries that have recently become inclined to punish Israel by recognizing the Palestinian state and have begun to support the Palestinians' right to freedom and establishment in an unprecedented way We have seen how many countries in the world have come to emphasize the importance of implementing the two-state solution as a basis for ending the conflict between Palestinians and Israelis after the issue of Gaza's recovery and reconstruction is over.
