Afrasianet - Up to five rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip targeting southern Israel, Israeli media reported. Israel Defense Forces confirmed that multiple rockets were launched at Israel, adding that the area is being searched for landing sites.
There were no injuries or damage reported. Two of the rockets landed in Israeli territory, the Jerusalem Post reported, while the other three exploded close to the security fence inside the Gaza Stip.
The rockets triggered sirens in the Israeli town of Sderot, which borders the Gaza Strip. In one of the latest cases of rockets fired at Israel two weeks ago, a rocket from the Gaza Strip did not make it across the fence.
